𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

Superion's Base

Robbie thought about what he could use. Then something hit him. Everyone knows that the faster you move, the more high-pitched you will get. Grabbing his suit, he hurried out of the diner and ran through traffic. Whistling as he ran, Robbie looked down at his clothes. They were tattered, with a gaping, burnt hole in the front. He knew that he needed more durable material, otherwise they would keep burning off him when he ran. Besides, he was running low on pocket money, and he hated asking his mom for money. Robbie whistled louder and louder causing the wind to distort his voice, creating a sound that only abberants with superhuman hearing can hear. Slowing down at an old abandoned farm, he heard a whooshing through the sky. Looking up, he saw the familiar yellow and blue streak going through the sky. Superion landed, causing a little dust to go flying about. "I knew that you'd come." Fortitude said. Superion shrugged. "Couldn't miss that signal."he said. "So. What can I help you with today?"Superion inquired. Fortitude pointed to his costume. "I'm may need a new costume. Mine is busted." He said smiling. Superion thought for a moment. "I think i just might have the right thing for you." Superion floated off into the air, leaving Robbie to weave his way through the traffic. Robbie rushed ahead, determined to beat Superion. Superion laughed. "Trying to race me? No way you'll win" he said laughing. Robbie smirked, zooming faster and faster going through a tunnel. Superion laughed even harder, sweeping in after him. Extending his hands in front of him, Superion placed them together, booming after the speeding boy. Fortitude bounded into the air leaping only then realizing that he didn't know where to go. Dropping back, he asked: "Where are we going supes?" Robbie asked. Superion smirked. "To Orion City" Superion stated.

Fortitude sped into Orion City skidding to a stop at an empty old coffee shop Superion had went to. He was confused at why he would stop here. Superion smiled, seeing the boy's confusion . "You'll see soon enough." Pushing the door open, Superion waved to the man at the front desk. "Hey Albert. Take us to my base." The elderly man nodded politely. Fortitude waved as well, looking around the place. Superion waked into the back room, calling Fortitude behind him. Fortitude walked into the back room, following Superion. Superion handed him an an S shaped object. "Put this on."he said. "What's this for?" Fortitude asked, turning it over. Superion took the object showing him how to put it on. Fortitude followed the steps, successfully putting on a modified version of a space suit. ( nano tech is amazing, isnt it?) Both heroes stepped onto a circular object on the floor. The lights on the ground started pulsating and spinning so fast that Fortitude had to shield his eyes from it. Feeling a gentle shake, Fortitude looked around, seeing the moon's rough surface all around him. Looking around he saw nothing but the void of space other than the planets in the solar system. Superion walked over to a huge white building waiting for the scanners to recognize him. Fortitude sped over to Superion, waiting for the doors to open. The door's light's flashed red. Alert! Alert! Unknown personnel attempting entry! "Override."he said. Superion put up his hand, allowing it to scan his finger prints, then doing a retinal scan. The giant locks clicked and the whirred, opening the door. Stepping inside, the two heroes waited as the first door closed, opening the second one. "Thanks Roberta" Superion said. Fortitude looked around for who Roberta was. Then he realized that Roberta was an A.I. He looked around seeing many monitors displaying prototypes and inventions that were not yet built. Superion looked at the monitors and started whispering. "Those are top secret."he said. The both heroes burst into laughter.

Fortitude double tapped the S, causing the suit to retract, leaving him with only the S in his hand. "Ill be right back." Superion said. Walking away, Superion re-appeared only seconds later, in a T-Shirt and a shorts. Fortitude took off his leather jacket, revealing a dark blue T-shirt. Superion laughed. "Looks like you were prepared, eh." Fortitude smirked. He folded his suit putting it on a bench nearby. His balaclava was still on, causing Superion to look at him odly. "Aren't you going to take off your mask?" Fortitude shook his head. "Nah,im ok." Superion shrugged. Walking into a different room he beckoned for Fortitude to follow him. He passed a room where he saw ANIMALS labeled on it. "What kind of animals do you have?" Superion turned around smiling. "Wanna see them?" He asked. "Sure." Fortitude said. By the way, you can call me Kurt. My name, Kor, translates closest to Kurt in english. Fortitude nodded. I can't tell you my name, but you can call me....Darius." 'Darius' said." Ok. Well Darius it is." said Kurt. Kurt(Superion/Brian/Kor Del) opened the door leading 'Darius'(Fortitude/Robbie/Unknown) inside.
Inside the room, Robbie marveled over the many animals inside, of all shapes, sizes and colors. Looking at some glass displays, he saw smaller animals, like Leaping Crabs, Glowing Rats, Quick Snails, and even some Horned Frogs Kurt called 'Bull frogs'. Some of the bigger animals had special capabilities, such as the 'Talking Cats' which could not only talk, but also had the ability of camouflage. Robbie was amazed at the wide variety of unusual animals that were there. Walking out of room, the two were faced by an angry Starlad. "The hell are you doing here?" He shouted. "Nice boxers" Fortitudw commented. Starlad looked down at his boxers(which had spongebob on it), realizing that he forgot his shorts. Starlad clenched his teeth, hurrying to get his shorts with an embarrassed expression. Robbie rolled his eyes.
