As the arrow landed, Fortitude's first response was to throw it into the air, to see if it would explode. After seeing that the arrow lacked explosives, Fortitude and Shift both jumped into action, with Fortitude grabbing the criminal by the shirt, before slamming him to the ground. As he raised his fist to hit him, Shift quickly stopped him with her telekinesis. Fortitude looked at her in shock. "What the hell are you doing?! This is the same guy that knocked me out of my body!!" Jessica face palmed. "So what, you're just gonna manually slap him out of his body?" Jason terrified expression slowly changed to a sly smirk. "Tsk tsk tsk. Lovers quarrel." Jessica rolled her eyes. "Shut it, wisecrack." Jason smirked. "Well? Aren't you gonna ask why I'm here?" Fortitude clenched his teeth. "No, thats because the only thing I care about right now, is you, going to the Airlock!" Shrugging, Jason replied: "You could send me there. Or, you could get the heck off me, and I can tell you what really happened to your father." Fortitude's face instantly went blank, his grip loosening, as he floated back wards, ignoring the people who were now outside looking at the scene in anticipation. Shift looked at Fortitude, fearing that he would make a rash decision. Before she had time to act, Fortitude grabbed Jason by the shirt, going straight up into the air. Shift gasped, watching the scene unfold.
Jason yelped, closing his eyes as he was yanked off the ground and hauled into the air by Fortitude. As Jason held on to angry abberant for dear life, he couldn't help but wonder if he was going to make it out of this alive. His plan was solid, but Fortitude was still a wild card in the game, meaning it could go either way. Suddenly, Jason felt the wind slow down, and slowly opened his eyes. Looking around, he realized that he was on a building top about 90 feet(ayo, don't look at me like that, I did research on this) off the ground. Jason grabbed his hair angrily. "Dude! Are you goddamn nuts?!!" Fortitude scowled angrily. "What do you mean by 'you know what happened to my father'?!" Jason clenched his fists, staring Fortitude down. "Get me down from here and I'll tell you." Fortitude grabbed Jason by the shirt, holding him over the city. "Last chance. I want to know what what you meant by your little statement earlier." Jason looked down at the city below him. It was a far drop, and he didn't have his special arrows. Still, he couldn't show any fear, he had to at least sound badass. Jason crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "Alright then. Go ahead and drop me. You won't find out the truth about your father, and you'll be the one who will get stuck with a guilty conscience." Fortitude grimaced. Blasting off once again, Fortitude flew away with Jason, carrying him to the most safe place he could think of: His house.
Flying through his room window, Fortitude dropped Jason inside. Landing quietly on the floor, Robbie took off his mask. Folding his arms, Robbie only uttered two words: "Start talking." Jason got up off the ground, brushing off his suit. "Geez. You're such a grouch!" Robbie looked as if he wanted to strangle Jason, but he said nothing. Jason opened his suit, taking out a thin metallic square placing it on the table. The center of the square opened up, showing a blueprint of Superion's moon base. Robbie raised an eyebrow. "Superion's moon base. I've seen it. So?" Jason rolled his eyes. "Close the windows, you buffoon." Robbie closed all the windows in his room and locked the door. "There is where the files are hidden." Robbie narrowed his eyes, looking at Jason. "What files?"
Jason looked up at the vigilante who narrowed his eyes in suspicion at him. "Those files will tell you what happened to your father." Robbie snorted. "My father died by a heart attack." Jason laughed with a shrill crooked sort of laugh. Robbie gritted his teeth, disturbed by the noise. "30 years of military training, and you seriously think that a heart attack would take out your father so easily? Robbie stopped gritting his teeth, thinking about Jason's statement. His father was a very strong man. His doctors had always said he was healthier than most people, with the exception of his heavy butter consumption. Jason smirked. He could see that Robbie was debating whether or not he could beleive him. He had to get Robbie to help him, otherwise, he would never be able to complete his mission. "Trust me. I have at least this measure of decency." Robbie rubbed his hand at the back of his neck. "What's in it for you?" Robbie asked. Jason looked down to the ground, his funny demeanor gone serious. "I need something from our favorite big blond boyscout." He spat sarcastically.
Jasper woke up in the E.R, his body in a cast. Suddenly, the door opened, revealing a nurse coming in through the door. She looked around and quickly closed the door. "Hi, I am Anna, your nurse. You have several broken bones and several first degree burns. You would have died if Fortitude hadn't brought you in." Jasper raised an eyebrow, not knowing what she was talking about.
