We finally got to leave the hospital a few days later. Raven was still there and I was pissed about it. She would not leave me alone. I was so glad my pregnancy was over because if I still had those hormones everything would be crazy.

"I'm not sitting in the backseat." I said. She said something under her breath. "And hell no she not sitting by my kids." Alex laughed a little even though I was serious.

"I don't want to sit by your kids." She said.

"Well you can stay here cause I'm not about to put up with you."I said. She mumbled something under her breath. "Say it louder." I threatened.

"Leave me alone. Alex she's trying to hurt me." I rolled my eyes. Kaitlin came by my side.

"By the time I decide to leave you alone your going to be more than hurt." I said. She walked away mad and I yelled. "Mad or really mad?" I laughed with Kaitlin before I got into Alex's car. I was happy that we could get along for the kids. It was nice being with him again. We weren't a couple, but he was being himself around me.

He took us to my house and I started grabbing everything. He stopped me and grabbed both car seats. I smiled at his effort.

"Alex I need time." I said. "If I want to start us on a good track. Give me time. Please I don't want to rush and not be ready." He nodded in understand.

"I want to do stuff for you. You know like let's go out and have fun. I know we have the kids to take care of, but you deserve some happiness." He said.

"Maybe." I said smiling.

"Give me 2 dates and you'll be back to loving me." I smiled and nodded.

"Okay if you say so."

**
A few weeks later

Today was the twins first doctors appointment. Alex told me he would be here to pick me up at 2. It was 3 and I aggravated and completely pissed off. I put them into my car and drove to the doctors. His mom was there waiting. I signed the papers and waited with her.

"You know I miss you right?" She said. I smiled.

"I miss you too." I said.

"So are you and Alex going to get back together?" She asked.

"I'm not sure. I want to say yes, but a lot has happened and I don't want to rush." She nodded.

"Yeah I understand, but don't keep him waiting forever."

"To be honest I'm really mad that he stood me up today. I know he's probably working or something, but he could have called and told me he couldn't make it." I said. The doctor came and called for us. I brought them in the back and the doctor check them and gave them their shots. They cried, but I got them to calm down.

"Thank you so much." I said as I was leaving the office.

"Your welcome anytime. If you need to me ever watch them I can." Alex's mom said.

"I will let you know." I said about to get into my car, but she stopped me. It wasn't that I didn't trust her but I was just scared to let them go.

"Myra I know your a first time mother and you might be a little scared, but I'm here if you have any questions about anything." I nodded.

"Thank you I will let you know if I have any concerns." I said. I got into my car and headed to my house.

I was so tired. The twins had ate, had a bath, and were knocked out in their cribs. I felt my hair coming down and it was all tangled and everywhere. I looked like a nervous wreck. I looked into them and smiled. My kids were beautiful. Alex put his hand on my shoulder and I stopped smiling.

"Go home Alex, I'm mad with you and I don't want to be bothered. " I said turning to look at him.

"I can't rest when I know your not safe." He said. He helped me out a lot after the doctors. Well somewhat helped by just laughing when they would spit up on me.

"I'm fine." I said softly.

"What if he breaks in and hurts you or the twins? I wouldn't be able to live if he hurt-." He said.

"Nothing's going to happen. If he wanted to do something he would have. Now just leave. Thank you for coming by, but you didn't come at the time you were supposed to." I said.

"I'm sorry I was at work. It's a lot going on right now and I had to stay."

"You could have called." I said.

"Yeah. I know. That's my fault." He sighed. I hugged him because I knew how hard he was trying to get me back and I wasn't making it easy.

"It is your fault. I'm glad you admitted that." I said smiling and letting go.

"Can I take you on a real date?" He asked. I sighed and looked at Chase. Madison started crying and went to pick her up.

"Don't cry Madi." I said and she stopped. I laughed because all she wanted was for me to hold her. I walked out the room with Alex behind me. He went to my refrigerator and got her a bottle.

"Can I feed her?" He asked. He took her from me and sat on the couch. He started feeding her and I got a towel just in case. That little girl is bad. She will throw up all her milk so you can hold her longer. When I came back they were both knocked out. I smiled and tried to grab her, but Alex woke up and tensed up.

"What?" I asked.

"Just though...Never mind." He said handing her to me. I went and put her in her back into her crib.

"Yes Alex." I said turning around scaring him a little. "Yes you can take me on a real date?" He smiled widely and I rolled my eyes.

"Good. You won't regret it." He said. I folded my arms and he walked closer to me. He tried to kiss me, but I moved away. I shoved him out the door and laid against it.

"Why is everything so complicated?" I mumbled. I walked back into my room and laid down and tried to sleep. Everything was going so fast for me.
