Chapter 34

2 weeks later

Myra POV

Everyday since the party Kaitlin and Jessica have come over. I really wanted to be alone, but it wasn't he best thing for me. Since I my father dying every night I cry to him. I just want him to tell me that everything will be okay, but I know he is watching over me. I was really petrified of the future now. Alex had broken my heart completely and I know he hated me.

"Myra!" Jessica said snapping me out of my thought. I looked up into the mirror and saw my eyes getting red.

"Yeah?" I said after so long.

"We should do something today. Let's go to the pool and have some fun." She said.

"Yeah let's go relax, so you can get your mind off things." Kaitlin said. I went into the closet and looked for my swimsuit. I pulled it out and looked at it. I walked into the bathroom and took off my pajamas and put my swimsuit on. I walked out and tried to smile.

"I'm ready." I said lowly.

"Okay let's go." Jessica said. We walked outside and got into my car. I started the ignition and drove off. I wanted to feel better than what I was.

"Myra your phone is ringing in your purse." Kaitlin said. She handed it to me and I looked at the number. It was a random number so I answered.

Me-"Hello?"

???-"Myra I'm so sorry for your loss. I-I'm sorry I couldn't make it either. I really want to make it up to you." I knew who it was as they started talking. I was surprised that he would call me.

Me-"Abel thank you, but I just got out a relationship, and I'm not sure if I'm ready to be going out." I looked at Kaitlin and then at Jessica. They both were shocked.

Abel-"Wait you said you just got out a relationship. I am sorry to hear that, but don't shut other people out. I can tell your hurt, but i will always be here for you." I smiled to myself a little.

Me-"thanks." Was all I managed to say. I really didn't want to talk to him anymore after that. Everyone was trying to love me after I was so hurt.

Abel-"Maybe we could hang out some times, you know how we used to before the..." he completely paused. I knew what he was about to say. We did have a lot of good memories, and I wanted the good times back, but not with him.

Me-"Yeah I'll let you know." I said. I took the phone away from me and kept driving. I hung up and glanced as Kaitlin and Jessica were staring at me.

"Well what happened?" Kaitlin said.

"He just wants to hang out." I said rolling my eyes. They didn't say anything after that. I guess it was a little awkward because I knew a big celebrity and I was turning him down. That was something I couldn't deal with. Being with a celebrity requires so much, and with Abel things are bound to change.

After hours at the pool we finally decided to leave. I really wanted to go to Lotus. For the past few days I've been craving wings, but I wanted to get over it.

"We should go to lotus." I said randomly as I walked out the bathroom putting my hair up.

"You can't eat seafood." Kaitlin said.

"I'll get wings. We all know how much I love wings." I said chuckling. They laughed with me and I sat down on my bed.

"We should get take out. I kind of need to get home tonight. Rodney wants you to get better also." Kaitlin said. I sighed and looked down at my hands. I fiddled with them before looking back up trying to stay strong.

"Thanks. No you know what I really want to thank both of you because yall have done so much for me and I really appreciate that. I know in a few more months it won't always be that yall can help me when I need it, but I love the times were having now." I said. I felt a few tears in my eyes. I was sad because I knew that I would really be alone in a matter of time.

"You can call us for anything." Jessica said. They hugged me tight and I stopped crying.

"Thank you." I said. They gathered there things and left. I went back into my room and got into the bed. I felt my phone vibrating and I searched for it. I looked at it and it said I had a missed called from Alex. I sat it on the table and closed my eyes.
