Chapter 25

Myra POV

After Alex told me yesterday he wasn't asking me to prom, I was a little heartbroken, but I had to get over it. I would just go with Kaitlin and Jessica.

I waited in the cafeteria for them to show up. I looked around at all the people in there. I adjusted my sunglasses on my face. I was ready to just go to the mall.

"Damn it's a lot of people in here." Raymond said coming to sit in front of me. I ignored him and unlocked my phone. I texted Kaitlin to see where she was.

"You can talk to me you know." I looked up at him and rolled my eyes.

"No I can't. I don't want to actually. Please just leave me alone." I said as nicely ask could, but I knew it came out rudely. He smirked and sat still.

"Would you go to prom with me?" He said trying to grab my hand. I snatched it away and stood up. I walked out the cafeteria to the bathroom. I turned around to see if he was following me. He was right behind me. I ran in the restroom and called Kaitlin.

"Kaitlin I need you to get to school now."

"I'm here where are you?" I looked around.

"In the front bathroom. Raymond is outside and he won't leave me alone."

"Alright I got you. I see him. Let me talk to him and then I'll call you out."

"Alright thank you." I hung up and put my phone in my purse. I looked in the mirror and tried to smile. I fixed my hair and waited.

"Alright" Kaitlin said walking in. We walked out and the bell rung. I walked to my class and waited for the teacher to open the door. I greeted her and went to my seat.

I was looking at something on my phone when all of a sudden I head music playing in the hall. I looked out the window and saw the old football team walking down the hall.

They started shouting stuff and we went outside the class. I looked around to see if Alex was there, but I find him. I leaned my head back on the wall and closed my eyes. The next thing I knew someone was touching my hands. I opened my eyes and saw Alex in front of me.

"Okay guys that's enough." He said turning to look at them. They stopped the music and everyone stared at us.

"Alex what are you-" he put a finger over my mouth.

"Will you go to prom with me?" I felt a few tears come down my face. He smiled at me. I'm nodded and tried to wipe my face. I wasn't crying because I wasn't sad. I was so happy. There were a lot of 'awes' going around.

"Yes. I will." I said. He laughed at me and wiped my face. He hugged me and held onto me. Everybody clapped and I smiled.

"Now you can go get your dress." I smiled and let go. I grabbed his face and kissed him really hard. I opened my eyes and he was staring at me. I walked back into my class and sat back down. I looked at him out the window and he was still in shock. I had him right where I wanted.

"Hey Myra you like this one?" Jessica said holding up a cream dress with a silver belt.

"I love it." Kaitlin said taking her phone away from her ear. She was talking to Rodney. I was glad I finally found a dress that I liked and I could fit. They already had their dresses and it was my turn. I went and tried it on. I walked out to show them. They squealed when they saw me. I blushed and moved my hair.

"I love this for real. Thanks Jessica." I said. She fanned me off.

We paid for our stuff and walked around the mall. I looked down at my stomach and how big it was. I was somewhat ready to get them out, but I was scared for them to be here.
