I woke up around 11 PM. It was still thanksgiving day. But it was time for Black Friday shopping. I got up fast and took a shower. I threw some clothes on and rushed outside to my car. i called Myra a few times but she didn't answer. I went down to her house and went to her doorbell. She came to the door sleepy with her eyes still closed.
"What?" She said rudely. I stepped in and closed and locked the door. We walked upstairs and into her room. "Come on put some clothes on." She opened her eyes. "For what?" "lets go Black Friday shopping." She rolled her eyes at me and went and got some clothes. She changed fast and walked over to me with her purse and phone. She put her purse in her hand and handed it to me. "Why you giving me this?" She looked at me and out her arms up. "Carry me." I looked at her like she was crazy. i gave in and picked her up and sat her purse on her. I walked down the stairs carefully and went outside. She gave me the key to lock the door. I put her in the car and went around and got in. I drove off glancing over at her.
When we got to the store there was a line starting to form. I looked over at Myra who was knocked out. I got out the car and walked to her side and undid her seatbelt and picked her up. She had woken up and was looking at me. "Just put me on your back." She said. I put her down and then bent down so she could get on my back. I walked to the line and put her down. We waited for 5 minutes and then the store opened.
"Grab that!" I said to Myra. She grabbed the box and put it in the basket. "Alex that's enough." She said making me laugh. We walked to the cash register and the girl was staring at me. Myra was turned around while the girl was trying to give me her number. Myra turned around and looked. She grabbed me and kissed me. I liked jealous on her. It was cute. The girl got mad but still tried to give me her number. "Listen bitch I don't know who you are but you need to stop trying to give my man your number. He don't want you" Myra said to the girl. She tried to hit Myra but the manager came.
"Is there a problem?" I knew that voice from somewhere.
"Nah we're just leaving." I grabbed Myra and the basket and we walked out. I got all the stuff in the car and got in. I finally figured out who that manager was. "What the fuck?" Myra yelled as I put my seatbelt on. "What?" "You grabbed me like I was a child" I didn't feel like hearing it anymore. I was just trying to get out of there. "Alex! Are you listening?" I wasn't but I didn't want her to know. "I don't feel like talking about it. Okay so just leave it alone." She looked at me. "I want to go home now" I couldn't deal with the stress. I just wanted to go to some more stores and have fun.
"I'm sorry you don't get it" I glanced over and then back at the road. "Well why don't you talk about it? I feel like I don't know you anymore." She said making me think. "Don't pretend like everything is okay Alex something's wrong." "its fine." She looked at me and was silent. "Whatever." I looked over at her for a second and looked back. I could tell she was just getting madder and she was tired. I drove to another store. I was looking around for a parking spot and I saw people walking all over. I finally found one close to the store and turned off the car. I was about to get out when I noticed Myra still sitting there.
"What now?" I said rolling my eyes. She was silent. "Can at least get out the car and come inside?" She didn't move or say anything. I turned to her a looked at her. "Myra" she looked at me. "What?" She said. "Why are you mad?" She at me surprised. "Because you won't tell me what's wrong with you." I scratched the back of my head and looked down a little. "Can you stop worrying about it and come in?" I asked looking at her again. "No." I wasn't use to being told no. It felt weird to hear it. She looked straight ahead and folded her arms. "I said I wanted to go home but you brought me here." She said. "Whatever. Get your ass out this car and come inside." She looked over at me and then got out. I wasn't being rude but she did need to be put in her place somewhat. I knew she didn't enjoy it.
