Mine Forever

Chapter 44

The next day

We're getting married today and I can't be any happier.

Yesterday was a little crazy, but Alex kept his promise. I was excited and nervous at the same about today. I looked into the mirror as Kaitlin did my hair.

"Mama." Madison said. I turned around and looked at her. She was beautiful with her hair in a French braid, it had gotten really long. She walked over to me in her dress and I smiled and kissed her.

"Stay still Myra." Kaitlin said. She was finishing my hair. She finished and I looked at it.

"Thank you." I said hugging her. She fanned me off and I picked up Madison. She looked at me with her curious eyes.

"Okay now it's dress time." Alex's mom said. I went into the restroom and the lady helped me put the dress on. I walked out and Alex's mom put my crown on me.

"Pretty mommy." Madison said. I blew her a kiss and she pretended to catch it. "Princess?" She asked. I nodded and she grabbed her basket from Jessica.

"Today's the day." I said. I looked at everyone and smiled. I was ready to become Mrs. Shead.

"Yes it is. Are you nervous?" Jessica asked. I nodded.

"Yeah I am, but I feel like everything is going to be good."

"It will. Don't worry. Myra I have watched you grow. From when you first met Alex to now. You are my daughter in law and I love you. He loves you and will do anything for you. I talked to him last night and all he wanted to do was see you." I smiled and blushed.

"I know he kept calling me. I had to tell him that he was going to see me." I chuckled a little before someone knocked on the door. Jessica opened it a little and looked down. Chase ran past her and towards me.

"Mommy. Daddy said your in trouble." He said. I laughed a little and he kissed me. I looked at his little tuxedo. Kaitlin laughed because she knew what he meant.

"Okay well tell daddy, mommy said she's not." He nodded, but wouldn't let me put him down.

"Mommy I'm getting married next." I looked at him curious.

"Oh really now? To who?" I asked sitting him down. We all looked at him and waited.

"To you mommy." I smiled and kissed him again. He stood up and hugged me and everyone else. He stood with Madison and I smiled. My wonderful kids.

"Okay so are we ready?" The wedding planner asked. I nodded and she took Chase and Madison out the room.

"Who's walking you down the isle?" Jessica asked. I looked at her and then at Kaitlin.

"Well I wanted you two to do it, but yall aren't really giving me away. My god dad is going to do it though." I said. They smiled and I hugged them tight. I teared up a little as I thought about how they had always been here for me.

"Awe don't cry." Kaitlin said. I laughed a little as I cried even more. I wiped my face off a little and waited. They all walked off as I stayed in the room. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled.

"I'm happy now." I said to myself and smiled. The door opened and the lady motioned for me to come out. I walked to the doors and watched as he came by me. I smiled and he kissed my cheek.

"I'm happy to see this. You know I have always considered you my daughter."

"I do know that. I'm happy that I have another family to love." The doors opened and I smiled.

"Your mom and dad would be so proud of you." He said. I looked at him and we started walking. I didn't take my eyes off of Alex as he teared up.

"Well let me stop before I start crying." My god dad said as we made it to the front. He touched Alex on the shoulder and walked off. I closed my eyes and felt tears running down my face. Alex wiped them off and grabbed my hands.

"I do." I said. I cried a little bit they were happy tears. I didn't think this day would ever come. Just a year ago I was pissed at Alex for everything he had done. We still had our issues, but they were being handled.

"I do." Alex said. It brought me out of my thoughts. The way Alex looked at me I could tell he was confused, but he smiled and hugged me. When I released him he wiped my eyes off. I laughed as more tears trailed down my face.

After the wedding and I had finally stopped crying I enjoyed the reception.

"Can we have the lovely couple on the dance floor?" The DJ said. I smiled and Alex grabbed my hand before I stood up. We walked to the floor and I stood in the middle. A few more men with mask came up to me and twirled me around. I laughed and smiled at them. They took off their masks and I realized it was; Rodney, Brody, and some more of Alex's friends. They started dancing around me and I turned around to watch them. When they finished they each took something out their pockets and handed it to me. I hugged all of them and they walked away. Alex walked up to me and I blushed.

"Thank you." I said to him. A slow song started playing and he grabbed me. I smiled and we started dancing. Everyone watched us and I couldn't help, but blush.

"Your welcome. Finally, your mine forever." He said as we finished. My god dad came up to me and I started dancing with him.

After him I danced with Alex's dad, and Rodney. I looked at Chase and Madison while I was dancing with Rodney.

"You can't dance." Rodney said. I laughed and he chuckled.

"You can't either." I said.

"See this is why we are still going to fight. Anyways, I can't believe I you are married now. You know me and Kaitlin are going to have to now." He said and I smiled.

"I'm going to marry her first though." I said.

"Whatever, but she's still mine." He said. I smirked and I felt small hands on me. I looked down to see Chase and Madison. Alex walked over and Rodney stopped dancing with me.

"Come on Madi we can dance together." Alex said. I picked up Chase and we started dancing.

"Wait daddy, I'm getting married to mommy okay?" Chase said and I laughed at Alex. He kissed me and I smiled.

"Ewww." Madison said. "Mommy, daddy can I dance with uncle Rodney?" I smiled and nodded. She looked at him and he picked her up.

"What toy are we going to buy?" He asked walking off. I laughed. All the guys were stuck on Madison. She had every guy wrapped around her finger especially Alex. He got mad at the little boys at the park. I put Chase down and he ran off.

"Mommy, daddy." The whole room got quiet as Chase was on the microphone. I walked over to him and picked him up so people could see him. "Daddy you can't marry mommy because me and her are getting married." He said. Madison came over to us and Alex came and picked her up. People were laughing at what Chase said.

"Well Chase I'm already married to daddy, but I still love you." He smiled and I smiled. He gave me a kiss and handed the mic back to the DJ. I put him down and he left.

"Mommy, uncle Rodney got me a new toy." She said. I sighed. She already had too much stuff.

"What did he get you?" I asked. She shrugged.

"I don't know yet. He said that I would get it later." I smiled and looked at Rodney. Alex put her down and she walked away.

I laid down in Alex's and I new bed. I smiled to myself about the day. It was fun. I had fun and now I could be happy. We didn't go on our honeymoon because we decided to just wait and take the kids with us. That way we could all enjoy it.

"Hey you okay?" Alex asked. I nodded. He came and laid down next to me. I stared at the ceiling and then looked at him. He was knocked out.

"Poor you." I said. He smiled in his sleep and I laid on his chest. He pulled my whole body on his and I smiled and took in his warmth. I hugged him and looked up.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too." I said.

"You'll always be mine forever." He said. I closed my eyes and heard a knock on the door. I sat up and watched it open. Chase and Madison came in looking sleepy.

I pulled them into the bed with us and they instantly went to sleep. I laid back down on Alex and he hugged me. I was happy with my new life. I had a real happy ending.
