Instant Regrets Book II

Prologue

It was as if the world suddenly stopped at the moment. The time and people around. My heart immediately recognized who owns the blonde hair, tall woman with a persuasive body. I seem to have forgotten to breathe for a seconds. When I see her standing not far from me. As if she was waiting for someone. My heartbeat suddenly quickened.

I don't know, if I will be happy to see her, after those years that we didn't see each other. I would lie when I said that I never missed her, that I've never think of her. But, why, what is she doing here? a big part of me wanted to approach her. I want to ask her, why did she leave without saying anything? But there is also a part of my heart that just wants to let her.

As I was weighing in my mind whether I would approach her or not, suddenly a child shouted.

"Baba!"

I turned around and saw a boy who was about three to four years old. He happily ran toward Lisa's direction as the beautiful woman followed behind him.

Suddenly, I felt there was a magnet where I was standing. I couldn't move my legs and my body to be exact. Although, I already known that she has a family, but it feels different when you see it with your own eyes. Af if it wasn't enough. I saw Lisa meet the child and she lifted him they laughed together. Lisa tickled him that made the boy laughed even more, she also pinched the kid's nose. The boy was handsome too, he got his face from Lisa, especially, how he laughs like Lisa.

When the beautiful woman comes next to them, Lisa snakes her hand around the woman's waist. As she used to do with me before that I always felt butterflies. The memories of us sunddenly came back to my mind. She gave the woman a tender kiss on the lips.

It was as if my heart was being crushed, that something had pierced inside my chest.

I felt the urge to run way. I feel like, I'm drowning and it's hard to breathe.
