As Jennie thought Hyeong had fallen asleep, she quietly settled beside him and rested her head against the bedrest.

"Are you crying, mommy?"

Hyeong's small voice broke the silence, and he crawled closer to his mother, his tiny hand reaching out to gently wipe away Jennie's tears, as if trying to comfort her.

"You're so beautiful, mommy," he said with innocence and admiration, his words causing Jennie's emotions to swell even more.

"Mommy, what's wrong?" Hyeong's tone was full of concern and worry, reflecting his deep care for his mother.

Jennie shook her head, managing a tender smile despite the tears. "Nothing, baby. Nothing at all... Mommy's fine." She tried to hide her emotions and reassure her son, feeling overwhelmed by his sweetness and the bond they shared.

FLASHED BACK FOUR YEARS AGO

"Honey! Come out, our Jennie is here!"

Mrs. Kim pulled her daughter into a tight hug as if she hadn't seen her for a long time.

"When did you arrive? Why didn't you let us know? You've been sitting there? And why haven't you come inside yet?"

Listening to her mother's series of questions, Jennie couldn't help but bury herself in her mother's arms, tears flowing freely.

"Mom, I've missed you so much."

"Okay, we're here, don't cry, sweetie." Mrs. Kim comforted her daughter, holding her close.

Mrs. Kim prepared two cups of coffee, placing them on the table as she sat next to her daughter, savoring the cold breeze on the balcony. Mrs. Kim was overjoyed by Jennie's sudden arrival.

"I thought you were with Lisa? She promised me she would visit here," Mrs. Kim said with a sense of disappointment, looking at her daughter.

Jennie looked at her mother, but no words came from her mouth, as if she wasn't in the right frame of mind.

Seeing Jennie's silence, Mrs. Kim understood that maybe Lisa was not with her due to work commitments. She smiled and held her daughter's hand, "It's okay, there's always next time."

Jennie nodded as if she wanted to confess something but was interrupted by her mother.

"Did you notice how the garden has expanded?" Mrs. Kim proudly said with a smile on her lips. "When you get married, we can have the wedding here. Since we will have a big garden," the old woman added with a sense of excitement.

"Mom, Lisa and I..."

Jennie didn't finish her sentence when a man's voice interrupted from behind.

"My princess!"

"Dad!"

Jennie ran into her father's arms, and Mr. Kim lovingly welcomed her.

Seeing the father and daughter together, Mrs. Kim couldn't help but get emotional. She wiped away a tear and said, "All right, I'll leave you two. I'll just get ready for dinner," before she left them alone to cherish their heartwarming reunion.

Meanwhile, Jennie and her father sat peacefully in the beautiful and spacious garden, the weather clear and serene. Jennie rested her head on her father's chest, reminiscent of her childhood.

"I can't wait to see you get married here and that's the best thing that will happen in my life. While your mother and I were dancing on your wedding day. I am the luckiest father on earth."

Mr. Kim gazed at his daughter's smile, a bittersweet reminder of his youth. He continued to lovingly caress Jennie's hair. "I wish you could give me a bunch of grandchildren. All you have to do is give birth. I'll take care of your kids," he teased, his laughter soft and warm, but little did they know...
