Jisoo arrived at Jennie's house, ringing the doorbell and waiting with a smile on her face. She hadn't told Jennie she was coming, wanting to surprise her cousin. To her surprise, the door was opened by Hyeong, who beamed up at her.
"Chupapy!" he exclaimed, throwing his small arms around her legs.
Jisoo laughed, scooping him up into a hug. "Hey there, little man! Is your mommy home?"
Hyeong shook his head. "Mommy's not home yet. Ajumma's in the kitchen. Come inside! We can play!"
Jisoo stepped into the house, setting Hyeong down. They moved to the living room, where she quickly became engrossed in playing with him. They built towers with blocks, raced toy cars, and shared stories.
"Auntie Jisoo, I went to Paris!" Hyeong said excitedly, his eyes lighting up. "It was so fun! I saw the Eiffel Tower and ate lots of yummy food!"
Jisoo's heart melted as she listened to his animated recounting of his adventures. "Wow, that sounds amazing, Hyeong! What was your favorite part?"
Hyeong thought for a moment, then grinned. "Playing in the park with Daddy. And Mommy took me to see lots of cool places."
Jisoo smiled warmly. "That sounds wonderful."
Hyeong suddenly grew thoughtful, his expression shifting. "Auntie Jisoo, can I ask you something?"
"Of course, sweetie. What is it?" Jisoo replied, curious.
"Who's Lisa?" Hyeong asked, his innocent eyes looking up at her with genuine curiosity.
Jisoo's heart skipped a beat, her mind racing. She forced herself to stay calm, her smile never wavering. "Where did you hear that name, Hyeong?"
Hyeong shrugged. "Mommy was dreaming and said it. I just remember because it sounded unfamiliar."
Jisoo hesitated, unsure how to handle the situation. She knew Lisa's name held a lot of weight for Jennie. "Well, Hyeong, sometimes we dream about people's names. Maybe it's just a random name."
Hyeong nodded slowly, accepting her answer without further question. "Okay, Auntie Jisoo."
Wanting to shift the conversation to something more light-hearted, Jisoo smiled and said, "You know, Auntie Jisoo has a surprise for you, Hyeong, but it's a secret. Don't tell Mommy, okay? I have a bunch of chocolates in my car."
Hyeong's eyes sparkled with joy. "Really? I won't tell, I promise!"
Jisoo laughed and patted his head. "Good boy. I'll just go get them. I'll be right back."
As Jisoo went to her car to fetch the chocolates, Hyeong began jumping with excitement. Suddenly, he clutched his head, wincing in pain, and fell to the floor.
Jisoo returned just in time to see Hyeong collapse. Panic surged through her. She dropped the chocolates and rushed to his side. "Hyeong! Are you okay? Ajumma, help! Hyeong passed out!"
Ajumma hurried over, her face filled with concern. "Oh no, not again. Let's get him to the couch."
They gently lifted Hyeong and laid him down on the couch. Jisoo held his hand tightly, her voice trembling with worry. "Hyeong, can you hear me?" Jisoo's eyes widened in panic as she noticed blood on Hyeong's face. "Ajumma, Hyeong's nose is bleeding!"
Hyeong nodded weakly, tears streaming down his face. "I'm dizzy, Antie Jisoo."
Jisoo's heart ached at the sight of him in pain. "It's going to be okay, Hyeong. We'll take care of you."
Ajumma quickly called Jennie, explaining the situation. Jennie's voice was filled with alarm on the other end of the line. "I'll be home as soon as I can. Take care of him, please."
