LISA POV.

It had been a week since I last saw my son. I had stayed in Chanthaburi, one of Thailand's provinces, for a few weeks due to an impending project deadline. I had only returned home yesterday, and I was eager to see him, to hold him in my arms, and to make up for the lost time. I missed him immensely.

Years ago, after a particularly difficult chapter in my life that included a wrongful imprisonment, my world fell apart. The injustice I endured shattered my spirit, but it also ignited a fierce determination within me. I decided to move to Thailand, far removed from the shadows of my past, to rebuild my life and career. My hometown helped me refresh and start again, a place where I could continue my legacy without the stigma of my past mistakes looming over me.

Thailand presented a unique blend of challenges and opportunities. The vibrant business community in Chanthaburi, with its burgeoning markets and potential for growth, was the perfect place for me to channel my energy and rebuild my career. The journey was arduous, filled with countless sleepless nights and relentless hard work. There were moments of doubt, but my renewed sense of purpose kept me going.

One of the most profound blessings during this time was the unwavering support of my team. Despite the scandal and the whispers, they never abandoned me. They believed in me and stood by me through the darkest days. Their loyalty and faith in my abilities were instrumental in my recovery and resurgence. Together, we became an indomitable force.

Our combined efforts began to bear fruit as we tackled one project after another with professionalism and finesse. My team’s dedication and my strategic leadership allowed us to carve a niche in the competitive market. We secured contracts, delivered exceptional results, and gradually built a reputation for excellence. Each milestone we achieved was a testament to our resilience and our refusal to be defined by past injustices.

Years passed, and our success flourished. We expanded our operations and undertook more significant and complex projects. The recognition and respect we have earned are hard-won and deeply cherished. I will never forget the hardships I endured in prison, but those experiences became my inspiration. Today, I am a leader and a professional who has rebuilt her life through sheer determination and the unwavering support of those who believed in me.

Reflecting on this journey, I felt a deep sense of gratitude and pride. The scars of my past had not only healed but had also strengthened me. I had transformed adversity into opportunity, proving that resilience and integrity could overcome even the most daunting obstacles. My team and I had created something remarkable out of the ashes of my past, and for that, I would always be grateful.

Moving to Thailand and rebuilding my career had been a monumental challenge, but it had also been the most rewarding experience of my life. It taught me the true value of loyalty, perseverance, and the incredible strength that comes from believing in oneself. With my son by my side and a successful career, I felt ready to face whatever the future held, knowing that I had the power to overcome anything.

I gazed at a framed picture of my son, my heart filled with warmth. Lithan was the sole reason I had persevered, the reason I continued to fight. He had saved me during a time when I no longer wished to exist in this world. The thought of losing him was unbearable.

As I parked my car outside the grand mansion, the imposing gate swung open to welcome me. I took a deep breath before walking towards the main door, my hands tucked into the pockets of my leather jacket. Pressing the doorbell, I glanced around, waiting for a response.

"Baba?!"

The sound of his voice was like sweet music to my ears. I watched as he ran towards me, and I knelt down to meet him at eye level.
