The car ride to the mall was filled with music and laughter. The three of them excited about some shopping after being in the house for most of the previous day. Lau teased Kina about picking out some lingerie to wear for his brother; and though Larry was driving, he made sure to shoot Laurent the evil eye in the rearview mirror. The gang pulls in and notices the mall isn't overly packed which is always a good thing. They park and head inside walking hand in hand like children with Laurent in the middle because of course he would be in the middle.
Their first stop was a shoe store much to Kina's displeasure. Laurent warned her about how Larry got around shoes. They would be in for a long day. He pulled box after box down and handed them to the salesmen, only for them to return with the shoe in his size. Lau and Kina left him there with a mountain of shoes to do their own browsing. They each found a couple pair of shoes and paid before returning to find Larry still trying on shoes.
K-*chuckles* Okay this is ridiculous. We will leave you here Larry.
Lar- Wha-at? I'm almost done.
Lau- Do not lie to this woman. *dying laughing* Reign it in my brother. Six pairs is enough. Pick from what you have and we can take this to the car.
Lar- Only six! How am I supposed to choose?!
Lau- Eeny Meeny Miney Moe for all I care, just pick. This is only the first store and I'd like to see the rest of the mall sometime today mon frère.
Lar- Must you bust my balls bro?
Lau- Yes I must.
Lar-Ugh!
Larry looked at the shoes next to him and picked his three favorites and three random boxes. The salesperson took the rest back and helped them take his selections to the register. Larry paid and collected his bags to take to the car. Kina and Lau each took a bag to help him carry them to the car. Though Lau couldn't let him off without commenting how they should let him carry it all by himself.
Kina POV
Listening to these two bicker like an old married couple is hilarious. My sides are on fire and we've only made it through one store. I start to think what I actually want from the mall and grabbing some lingerie was definitely not sounding like a bad idea. When we got back inside, I tell the guys that I'm going to look in some lady stores so they can go look by themselves. Lau shoots me an overtly awkward wink knowing exactly where I'm headed. I ignored him and walked along to see what I could find. The mall had a Victoria's Secret but I wanted something a little less run of the mill. I remembered that this mall had a private seller lingerie boutique on the second floor so I took the escalator up to that side.
Walking in, the store was dimly lit. The décor and lighting made for a very alluring environment. The store was virtually empty. Only having a couple of salespeople and customers inside. I walked around admiring the outfits and fabrics. A saleswoman approached me in the midst of looking at a bright red teddy.
SW- Do you need any help finding anything?
K- I didn't have anything in particular in mind. What do you think would look good on me?
SW- Oh honey. With a shape like that? Everything!*giggles*
K- *giggling* Why thank you. But seriously, I want to get something to impress the boyfriend.
SW- What's he like?
K- He's sweet. Very much a gentleman. He's goofy but in the best way. Understanding and patient. *gets lost in thought looking at the piece of fabric in her hands*
