The next morning Larry told Kina about his deal with his brother to hang out with him the whole day on Saturday, even though he was sure that she knew from eavesdropping. They laid in bed for a little longer when Saturday morning came. Larry didn't want Kina to leave, but a promise is a promise. They snuggled up to each other until Laurent bust in the room and dragged Larry out of bed by his ankles. They all died laughing at how dramatic he was being.
Lau- Sorry to steal your man Kina, but we have a date today. *flips hair still dragging Larry*
K- *giggling* Oh no, I understand. He's all yours bestie.
Once Larry was able to get to his feet, he and Laurent wrestled for a bit before Laurent allowed Larry back into the room to shower and get dressed. Kina picked out an outfit for him to quicken the process. She sat at the edge of the bed watching him get dressed and couldn't help but feel nervous. This whole thing she had planned would take a little time to set up, but she was determined to make it perfect. Honestly, the most important part was that Larry liked it. Larry walked over to her then, fully dressed. He placed his hands on her cheeks and brought her face towards his and gave her lips a few pecks before giving her a full kiss.
Lar- I'll see you tonight, yes?
K- Yes, you will. What time will you come over?
Lar- What time do you want me to come?
K- Maybe around 7:30. Depends do you want me to cook dinner or do you want to have dinner with your brother?
Lar- Oooooo good question! How about I ask Lau if he wants dinner with me and I'll let you know.
K- Well aren't you a considerate brother? *kiss*
Lar- I try. I try. Do you need a ride home?
K- Yeah, that would be nice. Let me slip something on. I can shower there.
Kina changed into some sweats and grabbed her overnight bag to take and stock up on more clothes. The boys rough housed all the way to the car, excited about the day's festivities. They dropped Kina off and rode off towards the gym. They were meeting up with some of Larry's boys to play some basketball.
They walked in still joking around. They arrived last and all the guys were already shooting around and warming up. Larry called them over and introduced them to his brother before they started a game. Larry's team won a couple of times and Laurent's team won the final game. They all dapped each other up before heading to the showers. The boys got cleaned up and changed into their outfits of the day. The next stop was lunch at Larry's favorite diner, Mama Kay's. They walked in and as soon as the bell above the door rang, Mama Kay's voice greeted them warmly.
MK- Well ain't that something! Gerad you ought to see what the cat done dragged in. Larry's here! Hey baby!
Lar- Hey Mama Kay! This is my twin brother Laurent.
Lau- Nice to meet you ma'am.
MK- Two of you! Oh goodness! Trying to give an old lady a fever!
Lar- Wouldn't wanna do that now would we Lau?
Lau- No ma'am.
MK- Gone and have a seat at your table. I'll give you two a moment to look over the menu.
Larry showed Laurent over to his favorite booth. They took their seats and Larry passed Laurent a menu.
Lau- You already know what you want?
Lar- Oh yeah. I come here all the time. I usually get a double cheeseburger with the works, fries, and a vanilla shake.
Lau- Sounds good, but I'll have a strawberry shake if they have it.
