Doc:......You're deeply in love with her.

Larry POV
You ever been punched in the gut really hard. Like so hard the loss of breath seemed to come from nowhere. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've been developing feelings for Kina from day one I think, but is it that transparent? And if Dr. Lynn can tell so easily, does Kina know?

I just stared at Dr. Lynn and she stared right back at me. I began to try and deny it, but I quickly realized I wasn't ashamed of loving her so why would I?

Larry: Is that a problem?
Doc: You never listen to me do you?
Larry: What I feel with Kina can't be wrong.
Doc: Oh, so you just know it will work out, huh?
Larry: I only have my intuition and I know that I will love her passed all of her issues.
Doc: Kina needs help not a boyfriend!
Larry: Kina needs love...and not that temporary fake love but real lasting love!
Doc: Larry you're young! You don't even know what real love is!
Larry: I may have never experienced it but I know what Love is. I'm quick to defend her. Even with your loud mouth ass receptionist out there who called her crazy! Even with you! I know you're educated and experienced but you've got it wrong this time!
Doc: Get out Larry!
Larry: But!
Doc: I said get your shit and get out!

Fuuuuuucccckkkkk!!!! I'm so pissed! I immediately snatched up my things from the session room and stormed out. On my way out, I heard a voice say...

Charlotte: Bye Larry. *giggles*
Larry: You're next bitch!

I've never called a woman a bitch before but the look on her face when I turned around to speak made me smile right out the door. I got in my car and put an address in the gps. I knew exactly where I needed to be at this moment and it wasn't arguing with Dr. Lynn. It wasn't telling Charlotte off even though she deserved it. It was with her.

I've been having this hollow feeling in my chest whenever she left and I realize now that it was always her. I think I need her as much as I believe she needs me. I raced to her house. Surprised I didn't get a ticket blowing through traffic. When I arrived, I realized I didn't know what to say. I walked up to the door and rang her apartment. She came over the intercom.

Kina: Who is it?
Larry: It's Larry. Can I come up?
Kina: Uh...yea sure.

I walked into the lift and rode up to her floor. When she opened the door, all I could do was stare. She had a towel in her hand, patting her hair. I haven't seen it all curly like this before. She cleared her throat causing me to snap out of it.

Larry: Hi.
Kina: *giggles* Hi. What brings you here? Also...how do you know where I live?
Larry: I asked Charlotte for your address that day you left your phone. I honestly just wanted to be around you right now.
Kina: * blushes* Oh. Well come in.

I looked around her place. It was big for her to live in it alone. I liked the vibe though. As I looked around, Kina disappeared to the back. When she returned her hair was up in a huge puff. I smiled at her.

Kina: So... what's up?
Larry: You might wanna sit down for this.
Kina: Oook...well let's sit in the den.
Larry: ok.

That walk to her den seemed like the longest walk ever. My pulse was pounding in my ears. Once we were seated, I became even more nervous about telling her. I mean what if Dr. Lynn was right and she would never love me back. Well if Doc telling me to leave was her firing me then this might be the last time I see her so I guess here it goes.

Larry: Kina, I may not be your therapist anymore.
Kina: Why?! What happened?!
Larry: I kind of did something that you're not supposed to do in this line of work.
Kina: What could have been that bad?
Larry: *looks down and sighs* I fell in love with my patient.
Kina: *stares confused* You did what?
Larry: *looks up at Kina* I said I fell in love with my patient. I fell in love with you and it's okay if you no love me back. I just needed to tell you and after I left there, the only place I wanted to be was next to you.
Kina:*just stares*
Larry: I sorry. I know it's a lot to take in and I shouldn't have just dropped this on you like that. I should go.*gets up*

Kina POV
My mind wasn't wrapping around the situation fast enough. By the time, what he said finally sunk in, Larry was opening my door to walk out. I jumped up from the couch, realizing that I couldn't let him walk away. I don't know if I'm in love with Larry like he is with me, but there's something different about him. Something I've never experienced with anyone else and I feel like there's only one way to know for sure.

Kina: Larry...
Larry: *turns around in the doorway* Yes.

Author POV

Kina was right in front of Larry looking up into his eyes. She saw some sadness in his beautifully warm brown eyes. She reached up with both hands very slowly and grabbed the sides of his face. She rose to the tips of her toes, closed her eyes and kissed his lips softly. Larry closed his eyes and relished in the softness of her pillowy lips. When Kina pulled back she looked at Larry. He hesitantly opened his eyes and looked back at her.

Kina: Come sit with me.

Larry nodded and closed the door before taking Kina's outstretched hand into his. They went back to the couch to sit. Kina took the silence as a cue to speak first.

Kina: Larry, I...
