Author POV
Kina pulled up to a small boutique downtown upon following the GPS to the address that Larry had given her. There were beautiful gowns in the windows in front of the store. Kina parked and got out, taking in her surroundings. She's never really ventured to this part of town. She walked up to the door and pulled it open. When she walked in, a bell above the door rang, alerting the salesperson of a customer entering. She came from the back room quickly and stopped short as soon as her eyes landed on Kina.
?- Wow. Larry said you were beautiful but honey you're gorgeous.
K- Ummm thanks. *blushing*
?- Well come on in here! My name is Lottie and I'm here to make you look fabulous darling!Kina couldn't help but giggle at Lottie's musings. She was definitely a bit over the top to be a salesperson in a clothing boutique.
Lottie- So what's your style like? Flashy, classy, understated, ooooo how about provocative?'
K- Umm well I prefer to play it safe. A little black dress has always been my go to.
Lo-With a body like that honey bun?! I'm thinking we should mix it up a little. Give 'me a little something something, eh?
K- Depends on what you have in mind...
Lo- How do you feel about a backless dress?
K- It's fine as long as my arms are covered.
Lo- Why do your arms have to be covered? You should show that beautiful skin girl.
K- I just—*sighs* I want them covered okay?
Lo- Booooo fine! I think I can work with it. I'm thinking form- fitting. I'm thinking simple. I'm thinking bright red!
K- Red is such a loud color though.
Lo- Well considering how quiet you seem to be. I think the dress should speak for you. It should be vibrant, sexy and elegant. It accentuates your quiet mysterious vibe. Ooooooo chile I'm inspired right now! I think I have the perfect dress for you!Kina tried on the dress and stood in the mirror to inspect herself. She felt like the dress was a bit revealing for her taste but she couldn't deny that it was beautiful nonetheless.
Lo- So what do we think sugar? You want this one?
K- It's beautiful. I just don't feel like it fits me. You know what I'm saying?
Lo- I figured the lace was going to be a hard sell for you but okay. I got another that I know you'll love.K- Lottie this is perfect! I love it!
Lo- Lord *giggles* Maybe next time I'll get you into something a little more risqué. Well anyway go ahead and change and I'll bag that up for you.
