Author POV
Light flooded into Kina's apartment from the rising sun. It painted the place in gold tones. Larry's eyes fluttered open and landed on the beautiful woman laid on his chest. His woman. His everything. God how did he get so lucky. Last night was something else entirely and he was fully satisfied in this moment. He gazed upon the marvelous expanse of chocolate skin in front of him. As much as they could both use the sleep, he just couldn't resist in the moment. Larry connected his lips to the side of her neck and feathered soft kisses down to the the hollow. Kina stirred in her sleep but scrunched her nose and went back to sleep. Larry turned to his side and positioned his already stiff manhood between her lips. He slid back and forward until she awoke panting. Kina opened her eyes and looked at Larry. He stared back still rutting his manhood between her slick folds. Kina lifted her leg over Larry's hip to invite him into her opening. He slid inside just enjoying the warmth and wetness. They shared soft pecks and wrapped their arms around each other. No words were spoken. Just intimate eye contact and bated breaths. The objective in this moment was just to experience each other. There was no race to the finish or rush whatsoever. The pace was slow and deeply satisfying. When they were both close, evident by the change in breathing and pace, they leaned their foreheads together and closed their eyes, relishing in the moment. Panting and a soft hiss was all that could be heard as Larry withdrew himself from Kina.
K- What's gotten into you this morning? Thought you would've had enough last night.
L- I just really like being able to feel you.
K- Same here. Though you do need to wear condoms more often.
L- You're right. I keep getting caught up in the moment.
K- It's not all your fault. I like the way you feel too. I just worry, you know, about getting pregnant. I'm still on my birth control, but shit happens.
L- I take it that you wouldn't want that.
K- To get pregnant?
L- Yeah.
K- I mean not right now. I always pictured myself married to the man of my dreams first. You know, like with a house and a loving home.
L- I never really thought that far. Passed the actually having kids part. I just knew I wanted to be a better dad than my father was.
K- What was he like?
L- I honestly couldn't tell you. I know who he is, but that's about it. I've met him by accident, but he never wanted to be an actual part of my life.
K- Oh Larry...
L- It's okay. I reconciled with his absence long ago. I don't understand how men can do that though. If I have a child, no matter what, I will try my best to be there for them. To love them and show up for them when they need me.
K- I think you'll make a great father some day.
L- I hope it's with you.
Kina looked surprised at his statement. It was the first time since she was divorced that anyone spoke of a future with her. A future that she could see flash before her eyes like a silent film. Larry walking into the room with a little girl on his back and his arms full of their two sons. The smiles and laughter they shared at whatever brought them into the room to see mommy. She smiled then.
K- You sure you wanna do that Mister? *giggles* You give me a baby and you can prepare to be sick of me. I'm never going away.
L- Even better. *chuckles* I'll have my Kina forever.
