We finally found Hannah! and everyone was safe and getting back to their normal lives, I was getting back to my normal life but, it felt empty.

Why? because Jake left. I was heartbroken, I never even got to see him, I never really went to Duskwood,I didn't wanna break my promise with Jake, I might go now since it's safe and the culprit is behind bars.I sighed as I recalled my last conversation with Jake.

Jake: Yes,we did. Thank you Mc for everything, you didn't even know us yet you still stayed with us despite all the troubles,and most of all thank you for trusting me:)

Mc: i- well that was sudden hehe,and yes when i was in college, sadly he cheated,ugh boys :/

I hid my face in the pillow out of embarrassment.

I was laughing my was ass off with Jake's reactions but also it was sus. Why is he acting so unusual today, I'm not complaining but I do have a bad feeling this. But I'll not bring it up yet

Mc:but not gonna lie I always studied when I was in school, plus my parents were strict asf!
Jake: haha.
Jake: Have you had dinner yet?
Mc: Nope! what about you?
Jake: Yes.
Mc: Are you taking care of yourself?

OMGOSH HE SENT A HEART!! I started blushing like crazy!! I started rolling around on the bed like some crazy teenager in love.
*the next morning*
I woke up and checked my phone, they were a few good morning messages from my friends, I opened Jake's one first. I smiled when I saw the first few lines, but then my heart dropped as I continued

Jake: Good morning Mc!:)I want to say thank you for everything you've done for me and Hannah,ever since you came into my life everything changed, in a good way ofcourse!I felt myself being more positive about things, whenever I hear a ring from my phone, I always hope that it was you, you always made my days go from dark and dull to bright and contented.
I smile everytime you text me with a cheerful tone,I can't hear you or understand some texts well but I can somehow see the emotions from those texts. It is a shame that I couldn't express well. But I hope you know how much you mean to me. You gave me hope again Mc. Hope for a better life and to be with you. To have you wake up in my arms everyday and go to sleep with you by my side, to go and do the things where you show your love to your partner, to celebrate the special events together and mostly to have you by my side,always.
Unfortunately..., I'm afraid it might not be possible. I tried Mc, I tried to make that dream come true, but I failed.Maybe in another life Mc. I will never forget you, You will always have a special place in my heart, a place no one can ever replace:) Goodbye Mc, I hope to see you soon.

I fell on my knees and stared into the abyss, Jake left? he left me? No that can't be true,He can't leave me,not again, I started laughing like a maniac thinking it was just some sick joke, I looked down on the floor and it was wet, I didn't even realized I was crying.
