We arrived at the Moon Falls Hotel in approximately twenty minutes, and this isn't what I was expecting. Sure, the pictures on the hotel's website were great, however they didn't do the hotel justice. Something tells me that this is a five-star hotel that Alex booked for us to stay in. There is no way that this is a bed and breakfast like I asked him to book, after he insisted on booking the hotel.

The walls at the entrance of the lobby were clear glass, giving clear view of the entire layout of the inside. While the walls inside the lobby that stretched from the floor to the ceiling were textured limestone with gold skirting boards. A dramatic spiraled grand staircase, led to the second floor, from each end of the long lobby area. Monumental was the chandelier that hung from the center of the high ceiling, illuminating the room. Apart from a large painting that resembles something from the Victorian error the walls were sterile.

Chairs with unique designs accentuated the décor of the room and aesthetically arranged throughout the lobby. In the background soft piano music play over the speakers creating a relaxing ambiance. This reminds me of the fancy décor magazine that my mom used to read.

The only thing that was strange about the place was the large, sculpted wolf with its canine bare standing in the center of the room. It looks vicious, angry, and realistic, but strangely not threatening.

Tom was impressed and wanted to know if he could touch it, I told him no, but he could stand close to it, and I would take his picture.

"Who would put this in a hotel lobby? This big rabies wolf, where are we the Madagascar or something?" Sophie says, staring at the wolf with knitted brows.

We are greeted by concierge and taken straight to our room while being checked-in, no lines, no waiting, and a few minutes later we are in our room. Two bedrooms adjoined, one king and one queen. After we had our dinner, we settled in the king bed cuddled up to each other watching tv until we fell asleep. At least, the kids slept, I on the other hand counted sheep all night, my mind on overdrive.

I finally fell asleep but woke up at 5 am, by the same recurring dream that haunts me when I sleep. As I get out of bed, I feel Sam turn in his sleep I gently rub his back making sure he doesn't wake up. Then I get out of bed and go sit on the balcony and let the cool morning air ease my mind. The breeze hits my face, I feel calm, I have a feeling it's going to be a great day.

At about 8 am Sophie wakes up and a few minutes later Sam does too, we all freshened up and head down to breakfast. After breakfast, we took a taxi to the car dealership to pick up the grey 2017 grand Jeep Cherokee car that we preordered. I wish I could have taken my car with me; I loved my Ford Branco it was old, but it had a good engine under the hood, so it didn't leave me on the road, Alex made sure of that.

It was a gift from Alex after I started college because I used to take the bus home every weekend during my sophomore year. He had wanted to buy a new car, but I refused it, then we went to his parent's house, and I saw my car and fell in love with it. He thought I was crazy when I told him to fix it for me. It looked and felt like I felt on the inside, its old, chipped paint job, stick shift and tight staring wheel were perfect.

"Tomorrow we will be driving to Walnut Creek, to meet with the realtor and collect the keys to our home. Are you guys excited?" I say to the kids

"Psyched!" Sophie says dryly.

"Are you not happy about this Sophie? I thought we all wanted to come here" I say in a soft tone.

"I do, it's just I can't help but think about Natalia. It's hard to be happy knowing her predicament"
