Its 9 am Saturday morning, Noah and I are still in bed just chatting, laughing and fooling around. Abby made breakfast for her and Tom already, currently they are by the pool.
"I want to do something with the kids today. There is a winter carnival in town we can go if you aren't going to be busy" I say.
"Yeah, we could do that, but what if I just want to do this?" he says while trailing kisses down my body. I chuckle, then say "You can do that anytime, but as much as I would like to do this all day, I think the kids are probably bored."
To no surprise everyone in Walnut Creek with families were at the carnival, the young teenagers were out in droves. The dress code looks to be summer wear even in this borderline frigid November in Idaho. When Noah and I walked in with the kids all eyes on us.
Suddenly, I started feeling anxious as the stares tun to whispering. The females mostly glared at me with contempt, while ogling Noah. Maybe this wasn't a good idea to come here with Noah after all.
About five minutes in I see January and her family, they came over to where we were and greeted Noah. "Mr. Draccon it's a pleasure to see you here today il capo" Jan's husband, David says to Noah then they both shake his hands.
Jan then hugged me and says, "Taylor, it's so good to see you here". Then looks at Tom and says, "this must be Tom" and I said "yes, this is my son Tom, and this is my sister Abigale".
"How do you know the Alp... um Mr. Draccon?" she asks, and I look at Noah not sure how to respond. "We are dating" I blurt, Noah stood there looking at me with a not so thrilled face. January looks at my ring finger with a confused look and I realized my blunder.
"Noah is my fiancé" I say to her and everyone within a mile of us started looking in our direction. Shit! I think I just told everyone in Walnut Creek that I am engaged to their Alpha.
The rest of the day went smoothly, Abby and Mathew are friends, he is one grade level above her, which means he is at least three years older than she is. They look a little too close, I need to keep a closer eye on this relationship, I think to myself as I observe their mannerisms with each other. She may be in a higher grade level, but she is still too young to be interested in boys.
The eight of us basically did the carnival together, Jan her husband their two sons, Noah the kids and me. We did the activities the kids were interested in doing. It's not hard to tell that Noah doesn't do this a lot or maybe never. All the people who spoke to him were in amazement to see him here.
Whenever he speaks to people, he is always so nice and approachable. The way he interacts with their kids just warms my heart. I absolutely adore this man.
At lunch he bought out the restaurant and told the manager to give the food to anyone who wanted to eat. Yes, its official werewolves in general, male or female young or old ate a ton. Jan and her family's plates were packed.
After lunch Noah and David were deep in conversation and the kids were planning what they were going to do next.
"There is this woman who comes here every year, she sells these great gingerbread bunt cakes and Swiss rolls. Come we have to find her and buy a few before they all go?" Jan says. I tell Noah and the kids that I would be back soon, then left with Jan.
"Taylor?" I hear Jan call me and I turn to look at her "do you know about us, what we are?" with a questioning expression on her face.
"What do you mean?" I say to her "that you are wolves?"
"Are you sure you can handle a life with Noah, he's not just an ordinary wolf Taylor. He is an Alpha wolf! do you know what that means?"
"Yes, I do, he explained everything to me. He wouldn't let me do anything blindly Jan, you don't have to worry about me." I say to her, hearing the concern in her voice.
