A normal person would have been scared; they wouldn't be standing around waiting to see what happens next. I have concluded that I'm not a normal person, not after hearing the man I was kissing make an inhuman sound and I am still standing here waiting to confirm what I already know.

"Should I be afraid, are you going to hurt me?" I whisper softly.

He shakes his head and says, "no, I would never hurt you Taylor, never".

I close the gap between us, and I place my hands on his cheeks and give them a gentle caress, then I kissed his lips softly. In the calmest voice I could summon I say, "let me see your eyes, Noah".

He opens his eyes, and they are blue again, they look normal, perfect ocean blue eyes.

"Were your eyes different just now?" I stare into his eyes as I ask the question.

"Yes, they were" he responds, staring back at me.

"How is that possible, what are you?" I say and now I am royally confused.

"I think its full time we talk Taylor. Can we talk now, please?"

"Yeah, sure" came out as barely a whisper.

Noah's POV

It's 4am and I am already up, worked out in the penthouse gym, showered got dressed and now I'm in the office working. Everything suddenly feels like a monotonous routine, dull and unexciting. Without her in my bed, wrapped in my arms I can't sleep at nights, and it feels like I am holding my breath under water, while fighting to get to the surface.

Eli joins me in the office, and we start to talk about Taylor.

"She's perfect Eli, but I have my work cut out for me, she's as stubborn as she is perfect"

"A stubborn woman? Hah! sounds like she's perfect for you my friend" his voice was thick with sarcasm.

He knows that I like a woman who is not opposed to listening and doing what I say. Which might sound like an oxymoron since I love a headstrong and smart woman. Be strongheaded with other people, but when it comes to our entanglement, I don't want a debate.

I want you to listen! I don't care if you want to eat a hot dog I just don't what to see you walking on the street eating a hot dog. I don't care if you wear a short dress just don't wear a shot dress that exposes what only I should see. Don't talk about me with your friends the NDA takes care of that and most importantly don't let another man come near you.

You will always have security everywhere you go. That means if you fuck up, I will know, and you will never hear from me again. I expect a woman to do these very simple things, and everything will be good. I am not an unreasonable man I don't try to control a woman's life. She can have all expense paid trips with her friends, and her family to wherever she wants to go. Shopping sprees, beauty treatments, whatever she wants, she gets it. I'll give you everything that you need, and you give me peace of fucking mind, it's that simple.

"I liked her the moment she walked away and left you standing. I knew from that moment she was the right one for you. I'm going to enjoy seeing you trying to be controlling and failing miserably" Eli says then laughs.

"Don't go overboard with the optimism, traitor!" I say and we both laughed, oh the irony. I have my work cut out for me if she is a rebel.

"I'm ready to tell her everything Eli"

"Woah, hold on, brother, everything?" he says with knitted brows

"I have to, I can't keep what I am from her. It's best to just put it all on the table and let her know, no deception. I won't hide myself from her."
