"What would happen if I decided this is all too much for me to handle" I say. He turns around so that he is facing me and says with all seriousness "then I would have to kill you". His statement jolted me, and the astonishment is registered on my face.
"Calm down that was a joke, in poor taste but do you remember when I told you I couldn't hurt you? Do you feel like this is too much to handle, baby? Before you decide please promise me you will give us a chance. I just want to be your man, forget about the wolf stuff for now and then later when you're ready we can revisit that part. I know this is all new and nerve racking, and I don't want to rush you. I want you to be comfortable about everything, about us. We can go at the pace that you are comfortable with."
His eyes look worried as if he expects me to run for the hills at any minute. To be honest, I do feel like running is the most logical thing that anyone with an ounce of sense would do. However, I have determined that the electrochemical process in my brain has a severe glitch that's preventing me from making good decisions.
"Ok, I will. So, I get the steering wheel in this relationship?" I whisper.
"For now, but when I get it, I am going to take full control" he says then kiss my lips.
We continue talking, breaking our conversations to steal little kisses from each other. Now I understand why girls my age in high school and college made out so much with their boyfriends. It feels like I'm on hard drugs, he is my special brand and I never want to come back from this high.
Would I be able to stop myself from going all the way with him? Deep inside I know the answer to that question, but before I do, he will have to know about everything. At this point this might be the deal breaker, he can't know everything, at least not anytime soon.
The rest of the night, Noah tells me about his little brother and sister, Johnathan and Emma. Emma, being the youngest, she attends NYU studying medicine and Johnathon the middle child he is following is Noah footstep, studying Engineering.
"I want you to meet them they would love you" he says.
"How d you know?" I asks and he responds "because I do"
The Dracon family are close nit although he doesn't visit as much as he used to. According to him, his mom is always hounding him about finding his mate and giving her grand pups.
"How would your family feel when they find out that your mate is, not like you, not a wolf?" I ask in a soft tone.
"Don't worry about my family, they will love you either way, both cow and calf" he says with a smile on his face.
"Hey! are you calling me a cow" I say with a fake pout.
He chuckles, then kissed my cheek and says "yes, but it was just a figure of speech". We stayed up the entire night talking, he wanted to know everything about me. My favorite color, the music I like to listen, food I like to eat and every minor detail about me. Even as I fell asleep on his chest he sat and listen to me talk gibberish.
The next morning, I woke up in my bed, feeling completely relaxed, like all was well with my world. I got up and went to the kitchen made a pot of coffee then pour myself a cup and sit outside on the porch, reflecting on the events of the last evening.
There is whole other world out there that I didn't even know about and it's a lot to take in. Noah shifting into his wolf Killian, the hot make out sessions in the woods and on the couch inside the apartment.
Seeing Noah strip naked, with his manhood erect and standing at attention. I think I have an idea where all his food goes, and by the cocky way that undressed in front of me, he is pleased with his package. His ego is just as big, though, I can't help but wonder, where would that thing fit?
