CHAPTER 47 - FUTURE LUNA

NOAH" S POV

Ever since I got that video Saturday morning, I haven't been able to relax. I am in a meeting with my team, and they are fucking pissing me off and my rage has hit the roof. Everybody stops talking, they know not to piss me off further when I get like this.

But the truth is this temper has nothing to do with them, we are actually on schedule for the project. I get up from around the table and go stand at the floor to ceiling windows in the conference room.

"Everyone out!" I say pointing towards the door.

They all get up leaving Eli behind, "Eli, tell me why the fuck haven't we found Charlotte yet?"

"She's gone underground Alpha, the trackers haven't been able to locate her, her scent has gone cold. I will let you know as soon as we find her" he says.

I have watched the video a million time and each time I do I kick myself. No one else but me was supposed to see Taylor like that, so vulnerable, exposed and in such compromising positions, even if the one giving her pleasure was me.

As I stand at the window looking out, down on the street, cars going back and forth, then it hit me, I know exactly where this bitch is. I grab my coat and walk out the room, Eli is behind me in a flash we jump in my car, and I speed out the parking garage.

"Care to tell me where we are headed brother?" Eli says

"When we were kids Charlotte, and I would cross the river over by the levee. Whenever we did the trackers would lose our scents and our parents couldn't find us. There is a cabin about 30 minutes away and we would go there and fool around. That's where she is, my gut tells me" I say to Eli as I drive breakneck speed.

I don't even know why she would do this and fuck up her life, she is a damn Neurosurgeon. What does she think? that she is going to do something like this and then business as usual?

"A part of me want to feel bad for her but a much bigger part of me want to rip her apart. This is all a silly attempt to hurt Taylor. Charlotte and I were done long before Taylor even came into the picture."

"Just don't lose yourself you have always been a just Alpha, don't allow what Charlotte did to change who you are brother" Eli says.

"She didn't just do it to me Eli, she did it to Taylor too" I say and then I sighed!

"Noah, I'm going to say something but please do not eject me from the car" Eli says sarcastically, and I respond, "speak your mind."

"Charlotte, she filmed you having sex outside after a heated conversation. You guys have a ton of history and based on what you just told me it goes way back. She's a woman scorned, try to keep that in mind when you find her. I don't want you to do something you can't take back" Eli says.

"If this had happened to Katie, would you have the same outlook?" I asked Eli and I am gripping the steering to stop myself from fucking going off on him for pissing me off even more.

"No, but I would want my best friend and Alpha to talk me down and try to reason with me. When it come to our mates, we are irrational beasts, even I can admit that" he says and puts his hands on my shoulder. I keep driving, as we are at least forty minutes away from our destination.

The rest of the drive was quiet, I get to the turn off from the main road into the forest and I drive for another 10 minutes then park the car.

"We run from here" I say to Eli.

After undressing, we put our clothes in the car and start transforming into our wolves. The run to the cabin is about 15 minutes from here. My wolf Killian can smell Charlotte from a mile away and her scent makes him even angrier. I mind link Eli's Wolf, Usain, told him to stand back, and wait for me to go around the back to secure the exits.
