Chapter 35 - The Plan

I immediately take the call, while signaling my driver to activate the privacy screen in the car.

"Alex, just the man I wanted to talk to" I say then pause for his response.

"I'm listening" he responds.

"I want Giorgio Eliminated" I say to Alex not beating around the bush.

He responds with "Is this a secured line?".

"Yes, it is" I say.

"Ok, say more" Alex says.

"Taylor aka McKenzie told me everything. I know you are closer to the situation; how can we get rid of this two-time loser once and for all?" I say, not hiding the contempt I have for this man that I haven't even met.

"By the way, Alex, how the fuck did you get my number?" I say to Alex. He laughs then responds, "how did you know it was me, Dracon?"

"I hear you about Giorgio, he's actually the reason I called you." Alex says.

"I'm listening" I respond, he has my full undivided attention; this matter is about my love, so it takes top priority over everything.

"She's going to need you now more than anything. Giorgio is on the war path; he has people looking for her high and low and he wants his son. I don't want to scare her with this info, I know how much she will worry. She loves those kids more than anything, this whole situation is just really fucked up, if you ask me" Alex says.

"Who is this guy, why does he think he can do all this to these women and get away with it?" I say, and at this point I can do nothing to conceal my anger about this whole situation.

"Look Noah, you need to know that Giorgio is a dangerous man, and he knows a lot of people in extremely high places. The FBI can't even touch this mother fucker. For years I have been trying to build a case against him, for Taylor and her family's sake, but they always turn out to be a bust. The charges never stick, witnesses recant their stories, and disappearing, you name it. The asshole is like a cat with nine lives" Alex says.

"Fuck! Well, if he's going to come here for her, he will need to bring an army. I give you my word, I will keep her safe" I say to Alex.

"Ok, good, I will do want I can on my end, just help to keep her mind relaxed when she hears what Giorgio is doing, she will start to worry" Alex says.

"Alex, maybe it's a good idea not to tell her about this. She's already stressed and worried. I don't want to put anything extra on her plate right now" I say. He is right she will worry, last night as she spoke about her and the kids' struggles, I could see how much she was willing to give up keeping them safe. It's time for her to stop running, this is her home now and I will protect them at all costs.

Alex is silent for a while, as if he were considering the request then he says, "I agree, I'll keep this between us for now"

"I appreciate this Alex" I say.

"Just take care of her, she's had to deal with a lot in her short years, they all have" Alex Says

We spoke for an extended period, he told me that he had a plan to get Taylor's sister away from Giorgio. However, he will not be getting any help from the Werewolf council because the operation will be off the books. The plan is to extract Natalia leaving Giorgio in the dark about her whereabouts and who took her. The logistics need to be meticulous because one wrong move could fuck it all up and start a war. He already has a fake name and life for her. She just needs to get rescued before it's too late. It will take a lot of detailed and thorough planning but no matter the cost it's worth it, Taylor is worth it.
