Chapter 24 - Draccon Enterprise Origin

I asked him again what he does for a living and this time he gives me a straight answer. I sit and listen to him speak and I was intrigued with his story. It's fascinating that someone so young could accomplished so much in their short lives.

An MIT graduate who studied Mechanical Engineering and has amassed great wealth off his accomplishments. I thought Alex was an over achiever, but Noah has single handedly reinvented an entire company.

Noah's granddad, Titan Dracon, started the Dracon's Yacht Company, building and selling luxury yachts and that's the origin of Dracon Enterprise. According to Noah Titan had a knack for building boats from a very young age. It started as a hobby, building toy boats for the kids in the pack. Then it became his passion, and he built his first boat while in high school.

The future Alpha's dream started as a young boy when he found his calling after a friend took him on a yacht. He fell in love with what he described as an unlimited star resort on the ocean. It was his first time on a luxury boat, and he was enraptured by not just the beauty but the craftmanship. He knew he couldn't afford to buy one, but he knew he could build one.

Titan's dream was to build luxury yachts and he wasn't going to be talked out of it he was determined. However, Titan's father had other plans for his son, and he wanted his son to abandon his yacht dream. Up until that time all the Dracon men knew their role was to take over from their fathers and become Alpha. It was like a rite of passage for the Dracon first born sons.

When Titan graduated high school, he left home for Italy with only the money he had which wasn't much and a few pieces of clothes. Titan had been saving because he knew his father would never pay for him to follow his dream. Whenever Titan would speak to his father about building yachts, he was told that his dreams were pipe dreams. That his future was to become Alpha, that was what he had to look toward to.

When Titan arrived in Italy, he went to work for a ship building Company. He wanted to perfect his craft and then return home. However, without any experience or a college degree he couldn't pick up a position to actually work on the boats. So, he took a job as a shipyard crew member, doing routine repairs and maintenance.

Titan was never discouraged by that minor setback; it didn't stop him from learning what he needed to learn. While at the shipyard he watched, he asked questions and he learned the trade he was a quick study. Soon he started working on the yachts and the rest is history.

After a few years learning he built his first cabin cruiser, a yacht little over 30 ft. Noah's grandfather's father was impressed and gave his son a loan that he had to pay back after his first sale. His grandfather turned his little boat company into a yacht building enterprise.

Then he started buying access, paying his way into venues that the rich and famous play. Building friendships with the people who could arrange for him to rub shoulder with the people who bought luxury. Soon they knew his name, they came to his parties, they wanted his yachts. He became a force to be reckoned with in the market. That was where Dracon's Yacht Company was born, servicing the rich and famous's appetite for luxury and prestige.

Noah's grandfather retired as CEO and his son, Andrei, Noah's dad took over as CEO and the company grew. Dracon Ent started making and selling bigger and more luxurious yachts. They acquired other ship building companies and their clientele expanded to the Middle East and Europe. The company has yacht lines that only the uber rich could afford, princes, corporate giants and billionaires.

A few years after Noah Graduated from college his father retired as Dracon' Yacht Company's CEO, and Noah took over as CEO. Noah's dad remains Executive Director operations and his grandfather remained on the Executive board of.

As a hobby Noah, started designing jet engines in high school after a science fair project piqued his interest. By the time he left college he had successfully designed and built his first engine. Which sits in a showroom glass case at Dracon's Enterprise along with a replica of their first yacht.

Noah grew the company when he started manufacturing and selling the jet engines. The engines were well received because it was one of the most efficient aero engines on the market. Dracon's Yacht Company acquired a few small private jet companies. Then they started manufacturing and selling Jets that used their engines exclusively. They continued growing and rebranding the company over the last six years through mergers and acquisitions.

Noah's mother is a real estate developer of luxury residential and high-end commercial properties. Dracon Ent acquired and built multiple hotels and commercial properties all over the world. Essentially growing their real estate division of the company. Mrs. Dracon is currently the Director of Dracon International Realty.

The Tech division of the company, Dracon Tech, is currently working on their line of medical Robots, which should launch within a year. Under their tech division a team of brilliant scientists and engineers pursue cutting edge technological ventures. The company's next great invention that Noah is most passionate about is the carbon free jet engines that he is currently working on. They are currently in the prototype stage of development.

All the companies are under the broad umbrella of Dracon Enterprise. Noah single handedly expanded the company when his dad handed it over to him after college. His dad wanted to enjoy life more as he puts it. He wanted to take his wife out vacations more often, start living life a little.

"so, do you love what you do? Say your parents didn't pave the way for you to be this successful what do you think you would be doing now?" I say to him.

As successful as he is, a multibillionaire, it's not lost on me that he was born into a life of privilege. The kind of life that some only dream of. The way was already pave for him all he had to do was walk on it. He had all the ingredients to build a successful life.

"Well yes I do love what I do, Taylor. I work hard. Yes, I didn't have a hard life, but I have put in a lot of work to make it even better. Everything I do it's for my family and the people that I love" he stares into my eyes and say 'love' with meaning. Was he telling me that he loved me? I feel my face head up at the thought.
