Its Wednesday afternoon and I am anxiously watching the clock waiting for 5pm, I need to get home. Abby finally spoke to me this morning at breakfast and said that we could talk this evening after school.

I really want to talk to my sister and work out our issues, we used to be so close its usually Natalia that gets her wrath. Now it feels like she and I are always at odds. I'm extremely nervous about what she might say. What if she doesn't want to continue staying with Noah? What if she feels unsafe and wants us to leave?

We made a promise to each other that we wouldn't live anywhere that either of us didn't like if the reason is reasonable enough. What could be more reasonable than not wanting to live with werewolves. How could I say no to her not wanting to be here? What the fuck would I do, if that is the case?

What can I do? I can't leave Noah! I'm engaged to him, I'm in love with him, plus he wouldn't let me leave either way. I'm between a rock and a fucking bolder.

Shit, I should call Alex when I am heading home, I need some advice.

"Earth to Taylor!" I hear Jan calling taking me out of the ticking time bomb going off in my head.

"Hmm, yes" I say looking up at her with a confused expression.

"Good grief Taylor, I've called you a dozen times, get out of your head. Is everything ok?".

"Ah, yes, sorry I was um... did you want something?" I say to her unable to recover from being caught daydreaming.

"Yes, I need you to coordinate the conference meeting with the chief of staff and head of departments at 3:30 today. Here is a list of all the people who will be in the meeting. I sent you an email with the meeting agenda to distribute it to all the attendees, along with the last meeting minutes. And please remember to take minutes."

Jan hands me a list and goes back to her office. The time and its 1:30, I have two hours to prepare for this meeting. I send out a meeting reminder to the attendees and he first name on the list, "Charlotte Davinche- Neurology Team Lead".

Fuck I had no idea she worked here. It's only been a few weeks and I still haven't met all the staff here yet. Jan has another meeting to attend with the hospital Board last minute and so she couldn't attend this meeting.

After sending the email with the meeting agenda I contacted IT and give them the list of attendees and set up in one of hospital's conference rooms. At 3pm people start to arrive, Sabastian comes in sits beside me and start up a conversation, we chat for a bit until we are joined by a few other people.

Sabastian is the second in command to the Team Lead who is currently on vacation, so he is the proxy, he tells me. His name wasn't on the list of invitees that I sent out.

About five minutes into the meeting Charlotte walks in sits, in a chair that faces me and proceeds to steer me down. The Chief of Staff begins the meeting and I delve into taking notes ignoring her. This has got to stop!

We are both working at this place and our jobs requires us to interact with each other. It can't always be like this. Besides, she needs to get over this bullshit already, she a beautiful and obviously successful woman, who can get any man she wants. Why is she making this so difficult? Noah has moved on and they ended a long time ago according to him. It's not like I came between them, so why do we need to be enemies.

The meeting ends and everyone starts to leave, and I muster the courage and say "um, Ms. Davinche may I have a word, please?" then smile. Everyone including Charlotte turns to look at me. If looks could kill I would be flatlining on one of these beds from the look that Charlotte is giving me. Sebastian gives me an apologetic look and smile at me. I clear my throat and say, "refreshments are in meeting room two if anyone is interested".
