CHAPTER 52 SURPRISE GETAWAY

After our chat in the Gazebo, I promised them that I wouldn't go back to the Riverhead. Noah placed guard wolves all over the property to ensure that I didn't. To be honest I wasn't even sure I wanted to go back, to think I was floating five hours in the river scares the hell out of me. The worst part is I didn't even realize that I had been there for that long, there was no fatigue I didn't feel cold there was no indication of the time passing.

Everything has gone back to normal Abby is back to her old self and Noah started making love to me every night Like he used to. Albeit I got an earful that night before bed, but I nodded at everything he says because all I wanted was some good dick. The things I wouldn't do for that one-eyed monster.

We have been discussing the Luna situation frequently and something deep inside me is telling me that I need to seal our bond soon. The time has come to move to the next level of our relationship and make this sexy, gorgeous man mine once and for all. I love him and he loves me what could go wrong?

Noah says that once I become the pack's Luna Giorgio can't touch me and Abby and I can make him release Natalia. However, Giorgio may be able to claim Tom because he is Tom's father and he's from an Alpha blood line. Which means that he has the power to take his son based on werewolf laws of the first-born sons.

The law states that no first-born son can be separated from his pack if he is from an Alpha bloodline. Alex says the only way to prevent that is to get Natalia and have her testify in front of the council that Giorgio didn't tell her he was a wolf, and she constantly lived a life of fear because of him.

Of course, I would prep her on what to say. The pictures that I have of her bruises should be enough for the council. She would need rehab for the drugs that she is addicted to, I'm sure, I just hope she isn't worse than I saw her the last time.

We started going to brunch at Noah's mother nearly every Sunday and Victoria can't wait to start planning the Luna ceremony. I wouldn't have it any other way the woman knows how to throw a party. Since Noah's granddad's birthday there has been three other parties one for Emma's birthday and two just because.

Victoria and I have become close, she reminds me of my mom but richer. Victoria has been giving me notes on being a Luna, she told me not to worry she will be there to guide me. Noah keeps getting annoyed with his mother telling her not to scare me with all the Luna stuff.

He says he would make sure that I have the best people on my team to make sure everything runs smoothly. Eventually I would get the hang of it, it's like running a business he says. You reward the good performance, train everybody else until they become good and most of all treat everyone as equals and take care of your people.

I'm currently at home and I'm starting to get stir crazy. I have been on a few interviews, four to be exact and I haven't gotten back any response yet. I am really hoping I get the Hospital administrator's job at the Walnut Creek Hospital or the Personal assistant for the top partner at the law firm Branson and Waugh.

The law firm would be right up my alley, but the hospital job is more in line with the fake Business degree. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I would hear back from at least one of them soon with an offer. Over the past few months, I have completed a few business and finance courses online. Just to make sure I am qualified for the job that I am applying for.

Noah doesn't particularly want me to work at the law firm, he says that he doesn't think it's right for me, but he doesn't tell me why. I know it's because he just doesn't want me to be another man's PA.

My phone rings and its Noah, I pick up the call "hey, babe" I say, and he responds, "pack your bags we're going away for the weekend".

"Noah you can't just spring this on me, Abby has plans with friends and Tom has a party to attend this weekend".
