"Ellie, do you have my silver earrings?" mom asked walking into my room looking like a Goddess. She wore a black halter dress that hugged her body beautifully. She matched her dress with silver stilettoes and a silver necklace.
"Yeah, they're in my top drawer" I said pointing at the dresser. She nodded and opened the drawer, she rummaged through it and found the earrings.
"Are you sure you can't come?" Mom asked me for the millionth time. I shook my head "No mom, I'm too tired"
She nodded "Okay, take aspirin and get some rest"
"Bye!" I yelled enthusiastically and she laughed walking out of the room. Mom, Dad and Jeremy were going to this fundraiser thing that dads friend was hosting. They still didn't announce the divorce to anyone so they're pretending to be together. Well. technically they're still together just not together.
2 seconds later, Jeremy walked in with a small huff "I hate going to fundraisers! It's stupid and annoying and no fun!"
I wolf whistled "Well somebody's looking hot!" Jeremy was wearing a black tuxedo with a grey stripped tie. His hair was gelled backwards making him look like a gentleman.
He glared at me and pouted "Why do you get to stay home?!"
"Because I'm tired, Jeremy and besides, this might be your chance to meet other woman! It's been what? 2 years since you last got laid?" I said snickering. He playfully slapped my arm "No, idiot. When I came here, I met this girl and we hooked up at her place. She was good. I wonder where she is now? Mm… The way sh…"
"NO JEREMY!" I squealed covering my ears "I do not want to hear about your sex life!"
"You brought it up" He shrugged his shoulders and groaned again when dad called out for him "I'm 24 for God's sake! I should be able to make my own decisions!"
"Have fun!" I chirped grinning like an idiot. He gave me the 'I will kill you' look and I shrunk back in my bed giggling.
"You too, idiot" He wiggled his eyebrows and ran out chuckling. He knew I hated it when he called me an idiot. Stupid, Jeremy.
In about 5 minutes, I heard the door close shut downstairs and I sighed happily. Now I can watch endless movies and relax.
I walked downstairs, carrying my blanket and my pillow with a couple of CD's in my hand. I threw them on the couch and proceeded to the kitchen to make some noodles. When I was done, I grabbed a bottle of water and walked back to the living room. I placed them on the table and snuggled up in my blanket with noodle cup in my hand. V for Vendetta started playing as I ate my noodles.
Good thing Joe told us we didn't have to work today. I'm as tired as hell with a fever. I really have a bad immune system. I'm not much of a vegetable or fruit eater. I'm a junky. That's why my immune system is crap.
Halfway into the movie, Dean texted
"Hey! Where you at?" - D
"Home, come over?" – E
"Alone? ;)" – D
I burst out laughing "Yes, alone. Pervert ;) Just come"
"On my way xx" – D
I sighed happily and stood up slowly making sure I don't get a head rush. I took a small sip of my water and turned to look at myself in the mirror. I looked like crap. My hair was sticking out everywhere, my face was pale and my body looked as skinny as ever. Whenever I get sick, I lose weight quickly it's not even funny. I think I might have lost 3 pounds. God, I hated losing weight.
