"Hurry up!!" Dean yelled, dragging Hailey with him to the front door. I drank the last sip of my orange juice and hurried out behind them towards the car.

Dean buckled Hailey in the back seat and sat down in the drivers seat. I sat in the passengers seat and put on the seat belt as Dean zoomed out of the driveway.

I turned the radio on and We are never getting back together was playing. Hailey and I couldn't resist Taylor Swift and we started singing loudly.

Dean was laughing at our horrible singing but he was enjoying it nonetheless.

"Can you put my cd?" Hailey asked and Dean and I groaned. Her cd consisted of nursery rhymes and this hot dog song by mickey mouse (A/N: My 4 year old cousin and I used to blast on the hot dog song and dance around like crazy maniacs)

"PLEASEEEE" She yelled and we both knew that if we dont put her CD in now she's going to be whining all the way to the zoo. Yes. We're finally going to the zoo. After planning this for a long long time, it finally worked.

"Fine" Dean huffed "But we're only listening to it once!"

"Hot dog hot dog hot diggidy dog..." I mumbled to the song for the 5th time. This was torture. Not only did she make us listen to the album 5 times but she's been singing along with it with her loud squeaky voice. Torture.

"Alright enough!" Dean turned it off and I sighed in relief.

"DEANN NOO!"

"Hailey. I swear to God if you say one word I"m turning around and going back home and no zoo for you!"

That shut her up.

Dean put the radio back on and Imagine Dragons radioactive was playing. We both sang along quietly and drove along the empty road.

"Oh shit." Dean cursed quietly. Confused, I took a look at him and then back at the road only to find out that we're slowing down.

"Dean...?" I asked, getting slightly terrified.

The car stopped.

"Dean, why did we stop?" I asked him and he leaned his head on the wheel with a chuckle "We ran out of gas"

"Way to go Dean! Didn't you check the meter before driving us out to the middle of no where?!" I said, getting frantic. We really were in the middle of nowhere. No one was driving next to us and surrounding us was a dark forest that I wouldn't dare enter.

"Deanie" Hailey said once she realized we stopped in the middle of the street.

"Where's the nearest gas station?!" I asked him and he shrugged "I don't know, we passed one 30 minutes ago"

Hailey was staring at the both of us waiting for an explanation but we had no time to answer her because we needed to figure a way out of here as soon as possible.

Dean picked up his phone and turned on the gps but the Internet connection sucked and their was barely any network in range.

I tried to call from my phone but no signal.

"Now what?" I sighed.

"Now we get out of the car and hitch hike to the zoo, it's only 20 minutes away from here" Dean unbuckled the seat belt and got out. I wanted to stop him and tell him that this shit is nonsense but we had no other option.

He got Hailey out of the baby seat and held her in his arms as we both stood at the side of the road looking completely desperate.

"It's a sign from God that he doesn't want us to go to the zoo" Dean said and I slapped the back of his head as Hailey started to cry.
