Chapter 18: Forever & Always, & Dean.

I knooow I'm sorrry! This is extremely short and it really is just a filler. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm just not getting any ideas. I'm sorry agaiin!

The day started pretty nicely, we went to school and had a full on great time and we went to work. I couldn't keep my eyes off of Dean all day. I didn't know what was wrong with me, I get butterflies roaming inside my belly the moment I look at him. He's perfection.

Joe noticed the way I was staring at Dean and kept teasing me about it, I tried to play along and sound like I didn't care but I really did. It's the small things he does that make my heart go crazy. His smile, his voice, his god damn beautiful dimples. And that was when Joe said the three words. The three words that were about to take our relationship into a whole new level so now, here we are lying down in the trunk of his truck with the blue sky glittering on top of us. A blanket was draping us as we were both snuggled up together with Dean singing 'let me love you' the song we heard on the radio on the way here.

Joe's words echoed in my ear again 'You love him' I knew that I loved him since the day his father took me but I kind of ignored that thought until now.

The thought of it scared me to death. I didn't want to get hurt. If Dean left me, I wouldn't know what to do. I love him. I love him. I love Dean. The need to scream it out loud was devouring me from the insides. I love Dean. I fucking love him.

Dean looked down at me with a small innocent smile "What are you thinking about?"

His hands played with mine under the blanket and I blushed, my heart starting to pick up 'Love'.

"Dean..." My voice croaked accidentally. I didn't want to cry but I was terrified. I have never felt this close to someone and it scared the hell out of me. Dean sat up sensing something wrong with me "Ellie, what's wrong?"

And Bam.

The words rolled out of my mouth "Uhm, I - I love you"

We both looked a little taken a back. I did not want to tell him this way. Oh God, Ellie you idiot!

Dean stared at me showing no expression at all. My heart sunk and I felt the tears build up in my eyes. I pulled away from him, ashamed. He doesn't feel the same way? Ellie, you're stupid.

A few seconds of silence passed when he broke into a smile. A feeling of easiness washed all over me and the tears were gone now replaced with a smile.

"You're perfect" He mumbled and crashed his lips into mine. I kissed him back passionately but in the back of my mind, I was thinking about whether he's going to say those three words back to me.

Dean pulled away placing his forehead on mine. We stared at each other breathimg heavily when he kissed my cheek "I" he went to the other cheek and placed his soft lips their "Love" he placed his hands on my cheeks and looked me in the eye "You"

I swear to you. In that moment. The whole world around me disappeared and the only thing I could see was Dean. "Say it again" I mumbled pecking his lips softly. "I love you, Ellie" He whispered and we kissed. We kissed a lot.

"I love you" I moaned during the kiss and he pulled me into him harder, wanting more. Honestly, I wanted more of him too.

I pulled away after a short while and we sat back down looking up at the dark sky.

"Dean" I whispered. "Hm.."

"I'm scared" The possibilities of Dean leaving just like Kyle did were endless and I loved him too much to let him go.

"Why?" He asked softly playing with my hair. I snuggled closer to him "I'm scared of losing you"

Dean's body vibrated with light laughter. "What?" I asked, confused.

"I was just thinking about the same thing, Ellie" His voice filled with worry and love. I love him. I love him so much.

Dean placed a soft kiss on my forehead "I love you"

"I love you, too"

"And I would never, ever leave you Ellie. I will love you forever and always. No matter what happens, I will only love you"

Whoever said all boys are jerks, obviously did not meet Dean.

"Forever and Always?" I asked entwining my fingers to his.

"Forever and Always" He repeated, placing his lips on the palm of my hand.

Forever and Always.

"Turn up the volume" Dean said focusing on the road. I reached out for the circle thing on the dash board and turned it to the right increasing the volume. Love Drunk by Boys Like Girls was playing. "I love this song!" I giggled and started singing along.

"I used to be love drunk but now I'm hung over!" I sang loudly making Dean laugh "God, Ellie, my ear drums are about to burst"

"You know you love it!" I continued singing and he just laughed as he drove to the right. After our little picnic date where we confessed our I love you's and now we were on our way back home to watch an episode of How I met your mother and baby sit Hailey because Carrie had a date that Dean was not happy about.

He parked his car in the drive way and we got out. Carrie came rushing out of the house wearing a beautiful tight black dress that showed off her curves and her hair was beautifully curled. Dean's mom was really pretty.

"You're late!" She yelled "Come on, you're dropping me off, Ellie honey can you sit with Hailey for a while until Dean gets back?"

I nodded smiling "Sure thing Carrie, and by the way... you look amazing!"

"Thank you honey" She grinned and sat inside Dean's truck waiting for Dean to turn it back on again. He sighed dramatically "I don't approve of this mother"

"Oh shut up" She laughed and I laughed as well then turned around and walked to Dean's house. I entered the familiar house and called out for Hailey who was watching Ben 10 in the living room.

"Hii!" She hugged me tightly as I sat down next to her. We watched the show in silence for about 20 minutes when Dean came. He sat next to us and wrapped his arms around me.

"Soo" I said trying to spark up a conversation but he seemed clearly upset about his mothers date. He didn't reply and kept staring at the tv. I turned my body around to face him and poked his nose lightly with my index finger "Hey, chill out. She's a big girl, she can handle herself"

He stared at me with a poker face and I took the chance to kiss him lightly on the lips. He chuckled and pulled me in closer asking for a longer kiss and I was just about to give in to his request when I remembered that Hailey was sitting right next to us.

I pulled away immediately and took a look at the little girl who was busy watching the tv show. We both sighed afraid she'd catch us doing something that is not appropriate for her innocent virgin eyes.

An hour later, it was time for Hailey to go to bed. She wasn't really excited and whined a little but eventually went to bed. When we tucked her to bed, Dean and I went to his room to get some sleep, for tomorrow we had school.

"Lance told me you and Kyle and partners in Biology, why didn't you tell me?" Dean asked the moment we settled on his bed with the comforters on top of us covering half of our bodies as we laid next to each other with my head resting on his shoulder.

I sighed "It's not big of a deal, I mean it's not like we're hanging out or something. Don't worry about him, he won't get in our way. I promise"

Dean nodded and kissed my hand lightly sending shivers down my spine "I love you"

"I love you even more"

"Forever?" He asked, making this adorable face with his eyes.

I nodded with a giggle "and always"

Yes Dean, I will love you. Forever babe, forever.
