Chapter 22: Lunch, Fight & Dean.

So you guys this is a short chapter but. but. you get to see Ellie's angry side! Have fun ;p

"Ellie!" Hailey's voice rang in my ears. I turned around and saw Hailey and Dean standing next to his car. Hailey was waving excitedly at me while Dean was averting his eyes away from me. It hurt. It really did.

"Hey, hails!" my voice croaked a tiny bit. I waved at the little girl and walked towards her, expecting Dean to talk to me like everything's fine. I couldn't go through another break up again. It was our first huge fight, why is... why is he acting like this?

"Going to school?" I asked her and she nodded "Yes! Miss Daisy said she's going to let us finger paint"

I laughed slightly at the excited kid and patted her head slowly "Alright, kiddo. Have fun... I'll see you around" I waved goodbye at her and took a look at Dean who was looking away from me. I grimaced and turned around feeling humilated and hurt.

"Goodmorning, class!" Mr. Hunter walked in and tossed a stack of papers on his desk. "Because you're all smart, smart students. I decided why not surprise them with a thing they all love the most" He smirked "Pop quiz!" Everyone, and I mean everyone groaned loudly. He started distributing the papers. When he arrived to my desk, he placed the paper and smiled at me "It's good to be back, isn't it?" I rolled my eyes and he chuckled walking away.

I loathed him.

After I solved the horrible pop quiz that I was pretty sure I failed at, I headed to my next class, which was Math, the class Dean and I had. I entered the class room with everyone eyeing me strangely. Of course, I looked like hell to say the least. I sat at the back of the class and placed my head on the table avoiding everyone's eyes.

Murmers erputed in the classroom all of a sudden. I looked up and saw Dean walking in with Melissa on his trail. She was talking to him but he seemed to ignore her and look for a seat that happens to be not next to me. But there wasn't any seats availble except for the one, guess what, next to mine. Everyone knew those were our seats since the begining of the semester. He didn't look at me as he sat down. Melissa glanced my way and smirked then said goodbye to Dean and hurried out of the class before the teacher came in and kicked her out herself.

"Goodmorning!" The teacher walked in breaking the tension that was slowly building up in the classroom. My heart was aching all over as I took a glance at him. I still didn't believe it was over. It was not true. I knew he loved me and I knew this was only one of our usual fights.

Lunch arrived and I sat down on our lunch table waiting for him to come and talk to me and make everything alright.

"Hey" Kyle said taking the seat in front of me "I've been wondering where you've been"

"I caught the flu so I had to stay home for 2 days. Doctor's orderers" I said, messing with the food in my plate not having the appetite to eat.

"oh yeah, it's because of the rain" Kyle said "And sorry, I heard about the break up... I didn't think the fight was that serious"

"Neither did I" I mumbled to myself "It's okay, he'll come around eventually"

"Don't beat yourself up, Ellie. I know you've done nothing wrong, you never have" Kyle said making my eyes blur. It was all my fault. I was stupid. I made a mistake.

I nodded at whatever Kyle said but when he spoke again, this time, I wanted to punch him in the face "It's his loss, he's an idiot for dumping you. You deserve much better than him"

"Oh yeah, says my fucking ex boyfriend who cheated on me!" I yelled quietly. His eyes widened at my outburst and frowned "I already apologized"

"Just stop Kyle, whatever you're doing. Leave me alone" I dumped my tray in the trash can and hurried out of the cafeteria when I bumped into someone, I let out a small cry before falling down on my butt. I stared up and saw Dean hovering over me with a shocked face that was replaced with a frown. He pulled out a hand for me, I took it and stoop up "Dean I'm sor-"

"Save it" He replied and walked away with a couple of his friends from the basketball team. The whole cafeteria where watching what just happened silently.

"REALLY?!" I yelled back at him, completely losing it.

He stopped.

"I have never ever been so, so shocked in my whole life. This is not you. This is not the sweet Dean who would forgive me if I accidently broke his phone or if I accidentally lost one of his things. You tell me not to compare you to Kyle BUT YOU'RE EXACTLY LIKE HIM DEAN! YOU TWO ARE SO MUCH ALIKE YOU HAVE NO CLUE."

Everyone was watching me as I yelled, Dean's back was still to me but Kyle was now standing up, he looked like he was about to follow me out of the cafeteria but stopped when he saw what was happening.

"You know what, screw you. SCREW YOU!"

Melissa let out a loud bitchy laugh but no one followed suit, they were all just listening "Aren't we getting a little over dramatic here?" she stood up and walked towards me "Oh no, Kyle left me. Oh no, Dean now left me, boohoo"

"You know what Melissa" I smirked "Fuck you too" I brought my hand up and punched her with all the power that I could muster. She screamed and stumbled backwards hitting a sophmore who was holding a tray, the food on his tray fell all over Melissa and she screamed, frustrated. I admit it did hurt my knuckles but it was totally worth it.

Everyone gasped, even Dean was staring at both of us with shock.

Melissa's friends hurried over to her "You are a crazy bitch who is always after what I have. You're just jealous of me because I always get the good looking boys, right? Well these good looking boys are really not so good. So go ahead, have them. Oh and on your way out mind picking up my left overs from the trash? Since you obviously like them way too much"

That was when a teacher burst into the cafeteria and looked at me then at Melissa then back at me "Ellie, principles office, now"

Suddenly, one of the boys started clapping and laughing, his teammates joined, later the whole lunch hall was filled with cheers and claps. Kyle and Dean were staring at me disapprovingly. I just stood there, smiling.

"Yo, Melissa" A boy said walking up to her, he opened his milk bottle and poured it all over her head "This is for cheating on me last year"

I grinned. She deserved that.

Melissa's eyes widened and she screamed again hurtling towards me but the teacher stepped in front of me and Melissa ended up crashing into the teacher making them both fall down.

Everyone started laughing as the teacher struggled, trying to push Melissa off. The teachers clothes were covered with stains the moment she stood up and everyone laughed even more.

"ELLIE, PRINCIPLES OFFICE. NOW!" She grabbed my arm and I waved to the audience who were still cheering about what I've done. The moment I stepped out of the door, Melissa screamed again and I smiled. Bitch got what she deserved.
