Oh my goodness. I am so sorry. I know I'm sooooo late but finishing this story is harder than I thought. I love this chapter because it's mostly in Dean's POV. I hope you like it <3 3 MORE CHAPTERS LEFT! I'M SO SAD.
-----------------------------
I woke up the next morning with a searing stomachache. I called out a couple of times to my mom but she didn't answer. So, I got up slowly and managed to go to the bathroom and wash up, however, my tummy still felt really weird.I didn't want to worry Dean so instead, I just got back to bed and texted him that I won't be able to come to school to help mom with her wedding things. I took a couple of aspirins and made my way back to bed.
After a minute, I heard a knock on my bedroom door.
"Come in" I said quietly and the door opened. Greg smiled at me a little "Good morning, I heard you calling out for your mom is everything okay?"
"Yeah, where's Jer?" I asked with a wince.
"Him and Ade went to visit Ade's parents, a 3 hour drive from here so they went pretty early to spend the whole day and come back home at night. What's up?"
I nodded "I just don't feel like going to school today"
"Do you want me to call them and tell them?" Greg asked and I nodded "Please"
"Your mom went to meet the wedding planner" Greg said and I furrowed my eyebrows "It's like 8 in the morning"
He nodded and groaned "I. know! your mom is a birdezilla. I have a say in nothing"
That made me laugh a little "She just wants it to be perfect"
"I know, I know. I'm really glad we're on good terms Ellie. If you need anything I'll be downstairs" Greg said and left the room closing the door behind him.
The next thing I knew, I was waking up screaming from pain. My whole body was on fire, my stomach was exploding.
The door flew open and Greg rushed in with a horrified look plastered on his face as he saw me in agonizing pain.
"What's wrong?!" He yelled.
"Everything" I cried and tears leaked down my cheeks as I held my tummy tightly trying to subside the pain.
"Can you walk?" He asked urgently and I shook my head holding my stomach. He rushed over and held me up bridle-style then hurried downstairs with me in my embarrassingly short shorts and light tank top, thank god I wore my bra when I woke up.
"What hurts, Ellie?" Greg asked and I pointed towards my abdomen. He frowned and stared ahead at the road driving quickly to get to the hospital.
"Do you want me to call Dean?" Greg asked the moment we reached the hospitals parking lot.
"No! No! Please don't tell him. Please" I begged and he just nodded and pulled me out of the car towards the emergency room where I was put on the stretcher immediately.
The doctor started asking me questions as the nurses injected me with an IV. I was still in so much pain but the IV was starting to work it's magic with the pain killers.
As I was waiting for the doctor to come back and update me on my health, Greg sat next to me in the ER without calling or worrying my mom in case it was nothing serious.
About 2 minutes passed when I saw 3 doctors and 6 nurses hurrying towards me.
"We gotta get her to surgery immediately" One of the nurses said and I gasped staring at Greg with wide eyes and he shared the same expression "What?! Why?"
