"I just... I just don't see 'us' anymore" Kyle said whilst rushing a hand through his brown wavy hair.

Tears prickled in my eyes as I realized what he was saying.

"Why?" I asked with a small crack in my voice. My lips quivered as the lump in my throat grew.

"I'm sorry, Ellie" He bent his head down and turned around to walk away when I called out "Kyle, please wait!"

"Ellie, I just can't fucking do this anymore. I tried to love you! I just couldn't"

But I love you.

"Don't leave me" I whimpered as the tears streamed down my face. My heart ached like crazy. I felt a stinging pain in my chest and I cried harder feeling every part of me breaking down.

He's gone. He was the only person that I had and now he's gone. Kyle is gone.

He's gone.

Why did he leave-

"Miss Evans!" bellowed Mr. Hunter, my annoying history teacher.

Everyone in the class room was eyeing me weirdly as if I had done something wrong.

"Yes, Mr. Hunter?" I mumbled tilting my head up to find Hunters stupid angry face a few inches away from mine.

"What was I talking about?" He asked folding his hands on his chest. I groaned internally; because, frankly, I had no idea what was he talking about, my mind was preoccupied with last nights awful memory.

"I don't know"

Please don't give me detention. Please. Please.

"Listen Miss Evans, if you are not interested in this class, please leave" He smiled in annoyance as some of the boys in my class snickered.

"I'm sorry Mr. Hunter, it won't happen again" I said with a frown and he just completely ignored me, just like everyone else did. Ignore me. Ignore me because I am not popular. Ignore me because the famous jock Kyle Hudson dumped me, ignore me because I am not smart enough, and ignore me because I'm ugly...

Yesterday, everyone loved me, everyone cherished me, everyone admired me and that was all because of Kyle. Before Kyle, nobody knew me. I was just an average girl with average marks and average looks. That was until Kyle asked me out. And I couldn't say no. Kyle is one of the most handsome guys I've ever seen, with the perfect brown hair and those ocean blue eyes that mesmerized me whenever I looked into them. Everything about him was perfect. He had a clean reputation, not a playboy and he was a straight A student.

I never knew why he picked me out of everyone since I was just a plain girl with boring brown hair and brown eyes. I didn't have big boobs or a giant butt and he still chose me. Kyle's a good guy. I knew that when he broke up with me, he didn't mean it in a bad way; he just didn't want to hurt me later on and just told me the truth right away. Kyle breaking up with me just made me realize how worthless I really am.

The bell rang signaling that the last class is over. I sighed to myself as I stood up and started gathering my stuff. I haven't seen Kyle so far which relaxed me a bit.

I pulled up my bag and slid it over my shoulders as I started walking with my head down ignoring everyone's stares and whispers. I rushed outside of class towards the exit. The moment I stepped outside, the hot summer waves of June met me. Only one more week of school.

"Ellie! Ellie!" A familiar voice called out my name. I froze. My heart raced and I turned around to see Kyle making his way towards me. I took in a deep breath trying to break down in front of him.
