Chapter 16: New Beginings, Second Dates & Dean.

2 weeks passed since the incident and guess what? Today's the first day of hell, AKA school. Dean and I spent the past weeks together most of the time. First, because I was avoiding my mother. Second, because Dean is amazing and third, well because we've got no one else but ourselves. Jenna and Liam left last week and it was quite an emotional goodbye, for we were not going to see them again until christmas.

I was at the doctors yesterday for the treatment and it went pretty well but I had to stay overnight just in case. Dean, of course, stayed with me and slept on the uncomfortable chair. While mom, stayed with her new boyfriend and did God knows what in our house alone. Speaking of the house, she allowed me to stay with her for the year because next year I'll be going to college and moving out to the dorms which she's so happy and excited about. Dad calls and comes over every once in a while to check on me since he heard about the kidnapping and well because of my sickness. Honestly, dad is better off without mom. He's turning to a better person.

It was 7 am in the morning and I was fully dressed in a red off the shoulder knitted shirt and black leather pants with red vans, ready to head to Dean's house and see how his prepartions for his first day at school. I curled the tips of my hair and put a small red bow on the side. Honestly, I looked way better than the first day of school last year. Remembring that awful day makes me shudder.

I grabbed an apple before hurrying towards Deans palce. With the same old goodmorning routine to Carrie and a kiss on the cheek to Hails. I climbed up the stairs and opened the door to his room to find him sitting on his bed, wearing a black t-shirt that said "Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again" and dark denim jeans that hugged his butt perfectly. His hair was messy as usual but it was the adorable kind of messy.

"Morning, babe" I winked and jumped in bed with him giving him a huge kiss. He chuckled, wrapping his arms around me, kissing me back with the same passion.

After a couple of minutes of us fooling around, we decided to finally head to school and make sure Dean is settled in. To be honest, I was kind of nervous for him and us. What if he likes another girl? What if somebody tries to steal him away from me? I've already had my heart broken once and I don't want it happening again.

"Are you ready?" I asked, taking a deep breath as we stood in front of the gates of the old school building that I've hated my whole life.

Dean chuckled "Let's do this"

We slowly walked in, hand in hand towards the hellhole. The moment we stepped foot into the crowded hallway, everyone stopped doing whatever the hell they were doing and started looking at us. Dean cleared his throat awkwardly leading us between the gossipers only to come face to face with Kyle. The huge smile disappeared off of his face when he saw me and Dean holding hands.

"Hey" He said awkwardly.

I raised my eyebrows smiling back at him "Hey"

Dean tightened his grip around my hand and I smiled at my perfect boyfriend. "Kyle, this is Dean... my boyfriend" I introduced them.

Kyle nodded his head at Dean "What's up"

Dean shared the same head nod and muttered something that I didn't quite catch. The tension that was in the hallway started to build up with Dean and Kyle.

"We need to go get Dean his schedule. We'll see you around" I waved at Kyle and started making my way to the school's office. I could still hear the murmurs of the people behind me.

"Okay so we've got Math and Spanish together only. This sucks" I mumbled giving him his schedule and he laughed "It's alright, Ellie"

I sighed and dropped him off to his English class as I went to my Biology class.  It was a pretty interesting class and I enjoyed it up until the teacher announced that we had to partner up with somebody for the rest of the year to do the experiments together. And of course, no one wanted to partner up with the loser. But obviously, non other than Kyle, stepped in and sat down next to me with a smile on his face "Hello, partner"
