Chapter 8: Money, Theifs & Dean.

"Jeff, go block the door so that the boy won't come out" Jeff, I assume ran across towards the door. He grabbed a table and put it against the door and sat it in case Dean tried to come out.

"Now, you…" He read my name tag "Ellie, I need you to insert the password without any tricks. If the police by any chance gets involved, I will kill you and your friend."

My heart was hammering against my chest and I was shaking as hell.

"I'm going to let you go now, do not scream." He slowly pulled away when I took the chance and screamed at the top of my lungs "DEAN!!"

The man cursed and grabbed me immediately "WHAT THE FUCK DID I TELL YOU?!"

I desperately tried to get out of his grip but he was holding me too tightly. "Open it!" he pointed at the cash register.

"Hurry!" He pushed me towards it with a gun pointed to my back.

"ELLIE! Is everything okay?" I heard Dean yell trying to open the door that was blocked by Jeff.

"OPEN IT!" He yelled punching my shoulder. I winced and moved closer to the register. I typed in the code and it opened.

He sent me a smile "Thanks for cooperating, lady"

I just stood there watching them take out the money. There wasn't a lot since Dean placed the rest of the money in the safe inside the storage room.

"Where's the rest?" He asked and I shook my head nervously "I-I don't know"

"WHERE THE FUCK IS IT?" He grabbed my hair and pulled it. "I don't know" I whimpered "Please"

"Ellie! Open the door! This is not funny!" Dean yelled and I started crying. I don't want to die.

Suddenly a hand came in contact with my cheek. I screamed in pain as my head flew to the other side with so much force.

I slowly brought my hand up towards my lips and wiped the blood that oozed out of the corner of my mouth.

"Where's the money?" He asked bringing his fist up towards my face. I shook my head crying.

"ELLIE!" Dean kept on banging on the door "OPEN THE DOOR!"

"Let him out, I'm sure he might know something" He said to Jeff. Jeff obeyed him and removed the table.

He wrapped his arm around my neck and brought the gun to my forehead.

I desperately tried to remove his big hands away from me but I was too weak. I hate being a girl sometimes.

"What the hell?" Dean stepped out of the room, his eyes widening at the sight in front of him.

"Let go of her" Dean took a step towards us when the man clutched me harder. I gasped for air and squirmed underneath his arms trying to catch a breath.

"Show me where the money is or I will kill her" He said loudly when Jeff pointed the gun at Dean in case he attempted anything.

"Dan, hurry" Jeff looked at Dan, the man who was holding me.

"NOW!" Dan yelled pressing the gun against my forehead. Dean started walking towards the storage. He opened the door and we all followed him in. He pointed towards the metal safe.

"Open it" Dan ordered and Dean did as he was told. The safe opened and Dan whistled with a smile.

He pushed me towards Dean as him and Jeff started collecting the money. Dean caught me immediately and we embraced. A feeling of security washed all over me.

"Are you okay?" he asked and I nodded pulling away. I held his hand tightly as we watched those assholes take out the money and put it in the back. It's a freaking coffee shop! What do they expect? 100's and 1000's of dollars?

Suddenly, we heard police sirens. I didn't know whether I should be happy or scared because of the threat Dan said.

"Fuck" Dan cursed and looked at us "Did you call them?"

I shook my head and I'm pretty sure Dean did the same.

"Is there any back door?" He asked and we both shook our heads.

"Damn it to hell" Dan suddenly walked over to us "Come here" He pointed at me. My heart skipped a thousand beats and I felt tears forming in my eyes.

"Leave her out of this" Dean said when Dan growled and punched him in the face. I gasped as I watched Dean fall to the floor with a loud thud.

"Dean" I whimpered slipping down next to him but before I could make it down, Dan grabbed me from my shirt and pulled me up. I started crying and trying to reach out for Dean.

"Just leave her alone" Dean got up slowly and I could see the bruise forming on his cheek "Take me instead!"

"I don't go for boys" Dan winked and dragged me out of the room towards the entrance. I screamed out for Dean a couple of times but he was helpless.

"FREEZE!" I heard a police officer yell but Dan ignored "If you come any closer I will kill her!"

I stared around me and saw 2 police cars and 4 officers standing with a gun pointed towards us.

"Let her go" A police officer yelled.

"Clear the way and I will!" Dan yelled when the officers scattered around leaving a small trail towards his car. He grabbed me and we started walking slowly.

"You can go now" Dan whispered in my ear and pushed me away from him as he and Jeff sprinted towards his vehicle. I fell down and my head came in contact with the ground. My vision got blurry and I swear I saw black spots dancing around.

Police officers surrounded me and some ran after them. I groaned closing my eyes.

"Ellie" Deans voice made my eyes snap up towards him "Come here" He whispered softly. I smiled at him and ignored the policemen. I stood up slowly trying to stable myself. Dean held me closer to him "I should have done something, I'm an idiot"

"It's not your fault" I mumbled, my knees getting weaker and weaker. I heard an ambulance pull up and I was taken away from Dean. I was too tired to even say anything or protest. I just closed my eyes and went into a deep sleep.
