Finally, the Festival could go on!

It's only been about an hour since all the commotion and the attacks from the Fearlings, but in just that singular hour, so much preparation has been done!

The Plaza in the heart of your home was decorated just as a carnival would! Bright lights everywhere! Games! Contests! Dancing! Everything was so bright and lively!

It truly made you smile at how much had been done in just a short amount of time, but you definitely weren't about to call off the Festival. It was the biggest event and it only happened every 100 years!

You strode down the halls of your home with a notepad and quill in hand. People rushed about preparing food and drinks galore!

"Ya sure do work hard, don't cha," a familiar voice came.

You immediately smiled and turned to face Bunny, who had his signature smile across his face, "well we do run on a tight schedule here, Aster."

"It's been an hour since the whole fiasco, love," he said, walking alongside you as you prepared for the event, "maybe ya should take it easy fer a little while?"

"Oh I'll be fine," you smiled, checking off boxes on your list, "our adventure is over and I don't have to worry about much now. And besides, I love planning the Festival."

"Ah bet ya do," he chuckled, gently pressing his fuzzy nose to the side of your head, especially given the fact you're much shorter than him.

You laughed loudly, his fur tickling you as he spread gentle kisses across your cheeks.

"Oh this reminds me," he paused, "ya remember when we at the Warren yesteday?"

"That was yesterday?" You perked up, "it feels like forever ago. But yeah?"

"I was, in fact, calling ya adorable."

You stopped and stared directly into his eyes, a stern look on your face.

"Uh...sheila?"

"Was this because I dyed my wings rainbow?"

"Maybe."

You snorted and laughed, your voice much more brighter and bubblier than usual. Bunny's face immediately begun to heat up, his ears drooping flat nervously.

You continued to laugh and walked along further down the halls, people stopping you to ask you questions before running off again to do their tasks. Bunny shook his head out of his daze and bounded back up beside you.

He wasn't used to this noise yet, the kingdom went from almost completely silent to even louder than a bustling city. Louder than New York maybe.

As the two of you walked along, he eyed certain objects that he begun to remember.

He stared at a vase painted with bright colours that resembled easter eggs, it held a large bouquet of bright yellow dandelions.

He remember that one, he painted that for you for one of your birthdays! That day was filled with so much chaos that he stifled a chuckled under his breath.

"What's so funny?" You asked, looking up from your to-do list.

"Nuthin' sheila," he smiled, "just remembered one o" yer birthdays."

"My birthday?" You perked up, looking towards the same vase he was, "oh...that birthday. Heh, I remember we painted ourselves with the egg bombs."

"Aye, and the little ankle biters painted yer wings too," he said, reminiscing the days that his younger siblings would get together and paint their markings onto your skin and feathers. He missed them.
