Chapter 13: Taking Flight

You shot off into the air as Bunny gripped onto your torso tightly. The chilling air flew past your rosy cheeks as you soared over the kingdom. Your laughter filled the air, sending the humble citizens of the Crystal Empire into a trance.

Bunny clung onto you out of pure fear, his shouts being drowned out by the whistling of ice cold air. After a few moments, you found yourself to be soaring over the vast ocean, reminding you of the night before when you rode the Manta-ray to the Mainlands.

"How you doin back there, cottontail?"

"F-fine..."

You chuckled and tugged against the reigns, leading Nova down to the water. You ran your hand along the liquid, once again creating ripples that reverted outwards and invited the sea creatures to the surface. Dolphin's swam up and dove out of the water, purposely splashing Bunny. You giggled like a child and dashed back into the sky.

You were gliding along the tops of the clouds now, and Bunny finally had the nerve to look up into the bright sky. He sighed in content and looked back forward, only to find that you weren't there, but soaring beside him. His eyes widened and suddenly felt himself even more petrified than before. (A/N)- For god sakes, can someone teach the kangaroo how to ride a horse? JESUS FU-!

You held your hand out to him, your steel fingertips tempting him, "do you trust me?"

He stared at your armored hands as he gulped. The next thing he knew, he was no longer on top of Nova, but gripping your wrists as he hung in the air. You smiled down at him cheerfully, giving him a sense of confidence. You soared back down to the water, all the creatures from before showing themselves once again.

The Manta-Ray was there too! It came to the surface and your rested your armored boots onto it's slimy skin. Bunny seemed to be filled with wonder, his eyes lit up and a small smile tugged at his lips.

"Having fun already?"

He choked and cleared his throat from embarrassment, "It's fine..."

You giggled, Bunny trying to conceal his joy was easy for you to scope out. You took his paws again and crouched, running them along along the Manta-Ray's skin.

He stared at you, hearts filling his eyes as he watched your rosy cheeks light up in excitement. You had such a fascination with different creatures, you treated them like your own children. Your hand was wrapped around his as you ran them over the beast's skin. Maybe Rogue was right, maybe he was in love.

You stood back up straight, brushing your armor off of any excess water. Taking his paws again, the two of you dashed back into the air, landing back atop of Nova. Your laughter rang through his ears as he smiled goofily. Once again, you slammed the reigns down and shot off for the Mainlands.

2 Hours Later

The edges Asia were beautiful. Everyone was bustling around, racing to their jobs and getting their kids ready for school. It was amazing. You'd spent the last few hours cracking jokes to one another and talking about eachother's lives. The ocean once again greeted you as you glided through the clouds, keeping a keen eye out for planes or any other hovercraft.

"Ya still haven't told me where we're goin sheila."

You slapped your face gently, how could you have forgotten to tell him?! After a few moments, you smiled, tugging the reigns as the snow covered mountains came into view. "The North Pole obviously," you laughed, leaning backwards into his fur, "tomorrow is Easter after all."

He tensed up at your words. Man, the two of you are really forgetful lately, (too busy just staring into eachother's eyes lmao) "Oh strewth..."

"Don't worry, we'll get it done in no time!"
