It's been days now. Days since you lost, days since he disappeared into the shadows of darkness, days since you lost your colour. The spring in your step disappeared, your bright smile was non-existent, and your bright eyes were dull. Everything seemed to be colorless.

It's been quiet, very quiet in your once humble and lively kingdom. The environment began to darken, flowers and plants wilted and died. But even though all the bad stuff is happening, you were slowly getting better. At first, you were absolutely silent, no one ever heard anything from your mouth. But over time, your voice opened up, and you began to sing again. That was most definitely a good sign of progress.

You sat quietly before your vanity as Vanish ran the brush through your matted hair, singing softly to lighten the mood for you. You were grateful, she even decided to be extra gentle with your wings and fluffing them up for you.

"Are you going to be alright while I leave for a moment?" she asked softly, placing the brush onto the vanity and turning you to face her.

"I'll be fine Vanish-" you cracked a tiny smile, "-you go and do as you please."

She smiled, wrapping her arms around your body and pulling you into a tight hug, "everything is going to be okay, okay?" She released you from the tight embrace and flew to the door, leaving you by yourself. You cracked another small grin and left the chair, sitting beside the window as the moon shone inside.

You sighed and held your arm out straight into the moonlight, revealing symbols etched into your skin as the light reflected from them like a mirror. You tore your arm away from the moonlight and winced in pain, they burned. You've been trying so desperately hard to figure out what they were, what they meant. You had only just discovered them a short time after you awoke from your deep slumber the day after the attack. And out of pure stupidness, you tried to figure out whether or not it was a prank by trying to peel them off like stickers, and boy did that hurt like shit.

You stood back to your feet and stretched, ruffling your wings and fluffing them up. You took a deep breath, your eyes fluttered close and when you opened them again, you greeted yourself with a determined smile. No tears. You strode towards your wardrobe and tore the doors open. You tugged out a long-sleeved black shirt that stopped at your neck and wrists, a pair of dark trousers that cut off at your ankles, a pair of wedged black heels and a black mask that bore sharp, glowing teeth.

You stripped down to your underwear and threw on the outfit. You were completely decked out in black when you almost forgot, your gloves! You quickly opened a drawer of the vanity, found your black finger-less gloves and tugged them onto your hands.

You swiftly tied your hair up, when murmuring of voices could be heard from down the hall. It was Vanish, Rogue and Tooth! You cursed at yourself, tied your black studded belt around your waist, slid your sword into the sheath, and sprinted to the balcony.

You stood atop the railings, your mask covering your smile. You glanced back to the door just as it opened and dropped from the porch, allowing yourself to fall before taking flight. Moments later, you could just hear their shouts of confusion, but was drowned out by the wind in your ears.

Your wings flapped against the wind as you finally felt free. Your laughter was muffled by the mask yet still was angelic and bubbly. You felt like yourself again. This is what Sandy would have wanted, for you to keep going, defeat Pitch once and for all. You were determined to make his wish come true.

The vast ocean loomed before you, silhouettes of creatures of all kinds glowing in the moonlight. You soared down to the water, brushing your fingertips across the still surface, ripples colliding against eachother from your brief touch. Sea creatures of every species swam beside you, glowing a neon turquoise in the moonlight.
