It was cold, oh so very cold. It was a cool winter's night in the calm town of Burgess, no creatures, no noise, only the sound of the air rushing past your face, and the slow rustles of bushes beneath you.

You calmly stood atop a tall electricity pole with the sleeping child in your arms. You chuckled quietly, crouching on the pole.

"You really are a sweetheart, aren't you?" You cooed quietly, "I remember when your brother was a toddler, always filled with mischief."

"Kids, huh..." Jack replied, landing on the powerline that stretched from house to house, "ya gotta love 'em."

You laughed, allowing Jack to take the girl from your arms. You smiled and dove through the window of the large house below, landing inside.

The room was decorated with a blend of bright greens, with splashes of violets, pinks and blues. It almost reminded you of something, but you couldn't figure out what.

Jack smiled as he rested his staff against the wall and attempted to pry the small child off of him, she had a very strong grip for a four year old.

After a few tries and a couple giggles from you, he finally pulled her off, letting her lie on the bed. Not even a few moments later, she rolled over and fell to the floor with a semi-quiet thud. You, Jack and Baby Tooth each winced at her sudden downfall and-

"Sophie?" A voice came from the other side of the door, it was her mother, Miss Bennet, "is that you?"

You glanced at Jack with wide eyes, only to watch him throw a blanket and a small sheep toy onto the child. You snickered quietly and bolted to the window, dragging Jack and Baby Tooth with you. With the speed of a cheetah, you quietly shut the window and peered inside. That little girl is going to be one mishchevious prankster some day...

"We should get back," Jack said as he glanced to you and Baby Tooth, listening to your quiet snickers.

Jack!

Jack perked up, spinning around to face the rest of the city. You shot confused glances at Baby Tooth, who simply shrugged, unaware of his sudden behaviour.

"Jack what's wrong honey-"

"Tha-that voice," he interrupted, "I know that voice..."

"Jack? What voice-"

He took off.

You swiftly looked to Baby Tooth and cupped her in your hands, shooting off into the sky after Jack. It took you a little to catch up, but you did nonetheless. As of now, you were in the centre of the city, heading towards the forest? He landed ontop of a small house, you and Baby Tooth landing beside him.

Jack? Jack!

You heard it.

A little girls voice rang through your ears. You recognized it, you knew exactly who it was, you just couldn't put a name down. The three of you stared off into the sunrise, leaping off again.

You followed along behind Jack, dodging billboards and sprinting along roofing of houses. The cool breeze was rushing past your face as you stared into the daybreak, it was coming up quite fast actually.

At long last, you finally came to the forest. It was denser than usual, but it was still winter, so the snow could be piling everything up. You landed beside Jack, pure confusion written across your face.

Jack?

You followed him down hills, through bushes and over snow, until he stopped. You stood beside him, eyeing the scenery, until it caught your attention. A lonesome bedframe was in the centre of the clearing, there was no mattress or pillows in sight, nor anyone to put it here.
