It was a beautiful, delightful morning. The birds had gone North during the winter, flowers poked up from beneath the snow; it just seemed like a great day to get out and have some fun with your friends!

You lied curled up on your soft, sleek bedding, dreaming away peacefully for once. It was rather quiet as well.

You rolled around in your bed, shifting from the lack comfort that had been plaguing your body all morning. You were still snoring peacefully though.

Well, your peacefulness was shortlift.

Uncomfort and pain began to wash over your body more intensely now, light shining into your eyelids as the sun peeked over buildings and into your chambers.

Unbearable pain had struck your shoulders even more intensely as the moments passed on, remarkably you were still asleep strangely. It was rather warm too, it felt as if your body was lit on fire!

And the next minute, your eyes blinked open.

"W-What the..." you moaned out, your morning voice startling you a little. You shifted your body as sat up a little, only for extreme pain to shoot down your spine.

"A-ah..." you cried, the pain becoming far too unbearable, "w-what is h-happening to me..."

You forcefully shifted yourself and sat up properly, crying and shaking from the pain in your shoulders and spine.

Your body however, felt lighter. And you realised that you had been sleeping on your back and side all night, which was sort of impossible given your wings prevented you from doing so.

But if you had been sleeping like that...how was it possible...? And then that was when you saw it.

Blood stained your silk nightgown and the sheets of your bed, the scent of iron filling your room and leaving it smelling like a wasteland. Your heart begun to sink as tears pricked the corners of your eyelids. The pain, shock, the realisation...

Someone had cut off your wings.

Vomit begun to fill your mouth and you swung yourself out of the bed, sprinting to your bathroom and unloading all of yesterdays food into the toilet. Your eyes were hazy as you slumped to the cold floor, bleeding out onto the tiles surrounding you.

Someone cut off the things that gave you freedom. And now, all that lined your shoulders were scars, scars filled with thick liquid that poured out and down your skin. You couldn't stand up.

The doors opened.

But you remained on the floor, slowly feeling yourself lose consciousness once more. But the familiar feeling of your darling pet began to reassure you as you were hoisted onto her saddle. Within moments, she was carrying you out into the open world.

Unsure of where Nova was taking you, you gripped onto the reigns of the harness strapped around her. If you fell, it would mean certain death if she wasn't fast enough to catch you.

Your eyes opened a sliver as your stared at her expressions. They were mixed with fear, sadness and shock. She was pushing herself far more than she did usually. She truly cared about you.

The batting of her wings grew faster and faster as she soared along, the mainland disappearing from your sight just as quickly as it had appeared. She seemed to be going at a speed that you didn't even know she could fly at.

Your eyelids were heavy as you clung onto her, feeling the heavy thud as she landed in the snow. She quickly and carefully begun to sprint through the snow, covering you with her thin wings to prevent you from getting cold, or at least she tried to.
