Bunny stared in marvel at the amount of people that danced and played music in the Plaza. Children ran around with sparklers, adults happily danced with each other and drank, while many others were working at their stalls.
"So...this is what a Festival is like?" Bunny questioned, not having been to a festival before
You smiled nervously, "well, there is a lot to do! Oh and there's so much food you can try! The old ladies that live in their own home bake new and different treats for every Festival!"
Bunny chuckled at your enthusiasm, "well then, ah suppose we should get going then?"
Your snorts of laughter filled the air as you dragged Bunny along throughout the Festival, people waving and chatting around you. You smiled at your people, waving back to them.
"Yer certainly very social, Sheila," Bunny snickered, holding you close to him, "social butterfly."
"I have to be social, it's what's expected of me. Not that I mind of course," you smiled, "what do you wanna go first? There's games, races, food, everything we could ever do!"
"Yer very excitable when it comes to a Festival, Sheila," Bunny laughed, admiring your love filled smile.
"Well back Hyperion we held Festivals all the time! Oh I performed and danced with everyone!"
Bunny smiled at your enthusiasm, as well as taking in the Lavender spring scent from the scarf wrapped around his neck. Though what he did notice when he stared at you, was that you were barefoot. Why you had no shoes? He'd find out later of course.
"Why don't I take you to meet the lovely old ladies at their stall? They're sure to love you!"
Before Bunny could answer, you pulled him through the crowds and towards a small stall decorated with golden fairy lights. Two elderly ladies with greyed wings sat quietly, offering baked goods to others.
"Oh Madame Anna! Madame Judy!" You called out, pulling Bunny along. The two elderly ladies looked up at you and begun to smile, waving their hands over to you.
Both ladies shared similar styles, but both looked as beautiful as each other. You immediately pulled Bunny up to their stall, immediately taking in the scent of baked goods.
"Ah, hello there Empress," the small, elderly lady known as Anna spoke as she took your hand in her own, "you are looking as beautiful as ever, my dear."
"I thank you, Mademoiselle," you smiled, holding both ladies hands.
Judy, Anna's wife, smiled at you in return, "we suppose you have come to get some treats?"
"That and I'd like for you to meet someone!" You clapped excitedly, stepping out of the way to show Bunny.
"Ah! You must be Aster Bunnymund, one of the Guardians," Anna greeted excitedly, shaking Bunny's paw in her hand, "it is a pleasure to meet you, dear."
"Pleasure ta meet you both, ladies," he smiled softly.
"Ooh, an Australian!" Judy clapped, "I was not expecting that! And you are very kind, dear. Madame Empress has chosen well."
Bunny chuckled nervously and played with the scarf around his neck, not used to having such attention before. You smiled and held Bunny's paw in your hand, the two wives immediately awing at the two of you.
"You have chosen well, Madame," Judy and Anna both said, holding your soft hand in their's, "how does the Princess and young Jack feel?"
"Aye, lil' sheila is actually happy," Bunny chuckled, looking to Rogue's stall and waving to her.
