I stand holding Marco as steam rises around us. Falco lies on the ground, eyes wide open, confused much like myself.

"What happened?" He asks from the ground.

"I think, I think Eren is gone." The words leave my mouth before I even have a chance to process myself.

"Does that mean," He says as he gets up. "That this is all over?"

My eyes move to him. "I think so..."

"Is everyone finally free?"

I look down at my hand and slowly bring it up to my mouth. "I guess there is only one way to find out."

I bite down on my hand, sinking my teeth in. Pain pulses through me. I pause, waiting for something. But nothing happens. Blood dribbles down my hand but no steam rises from the wound.

"I think we're finally free," I say.

Falco takes off without another word, he disappears into the steam. I carefully follow after him. Cries and cheers of happiness resonate around me as I stumble forward.

A woman brushes past me, her head turns back towards me and she winks at me. Her eyes are the same as mine and for the first time in my life, I think I'm staring at my birth mother. She taps on her heart before pointing to mine. She vanishes into the steam as I reach for her.

I look up ahead and see two figures standing before me, their fists over their hearts. They both have proud smiles on their faces.

"Thank you both for making me the person I am today," I whisper. "I just wish you could be still here with us."

Erwin gives a faint nod before vanishing in a puff of steam, leaving Marco behind. He stares at me with that smile on his. His eyes move from me to my son in my arms. There is happiness in his eyes before just like the other two he disappears.

"(y/n)!" Someone yells.

Connie and Jean rush through the steam towards me. I'm suddenly embraced tightly by both of them. They both sob into my shoulders. Marco grabs onto Jean's shirt, sobbing a little at the sight of his father.

"I thought I'd never see you two again," Jean says.

"I'm so happy that this is all over!" Connie cries.

I can't manage to get anything out as both men pull away from me. Jean stares at me. There is concern on his face as he traces his thumb over my face. I can't help but stare into his eyes. Not a single word can form in my brain right now.

I slowly reach up a hand and touch the side of his face, relishing in this moment. Only moments ago he was a mindless titan. Now he is back where he belongs, with us. Our eye contact doesn't break as Jean leans down closer to me.

"I'm so lucky to have you, to have this second chance with the both of you," He whispers.

"We are so lucky to have you back with us," I whisper back.

"Daddy," Marco pipes up.

Jean tears his attention away from me and the glassy-eyed boy in my arms. He brushes the hair away from his face.

"Everything is okay, Marco. I'm not going anywhere." He reassures the boy as he carefully lifts him from my arms.

I take a moment to look around us, people are reunited with loved ones, including Annie and Reiner. I place a hand on Connie's shoulder, he jumps at the feeling.

"I need to go and find Levi. Can you keep an eye on these two for me?" I ask.

He nods and a smile graces his face. "Someone has to keep them in line."

"Thank you," I say before walking off.

My eyes scan the area and every second I can't see him, the more I start to panic. He has to be somewhere around here.

"Oi, brat." A weak voice breaks through the sound of happiness.

My head snaps around and leaning against a rock, beaten and broken, is Levi. I rush to his side, collapsing down beside him.

"You're alive!" I yell, carefully taking a hold of his hand.

He winces at the sudden movement. "Of course I am."

"Let's get you out of here," I say as I start to lift him off the ground.

A groan leaves him but he makes no comment about the pain he is in. I slowly walk him back over to where Jean, Connie, and Marco are. Relief washes over their faces as they see us approach.

"Nothing can kill you, captain." Connie comments.

"I have too much to live for to die." Levi states.

"Even in this condition you still scare me, Levi," Jean says

Levi looks up at Jean weakly. "Good, keep it that way. Jean."

A small laugh is shared around the group. Reiner joins us, offering to help Levi. Jean wraps an arm around my shoulders as we hobble towards a larger group of people.

5 months later

Gabi pushes Levi out in his wheelchair, a newspaper neatly folded on his lap. The doctors had informed him that he would never really walk again. He had grumbled about it but I think he found peace in the whole situation.

I walk over to them, making sure not to trip on the front of my dress. The last thing I need is a broken nose on my big day.

Levi looks me up and down, the smallest of smiles gracing his scarred face. "You look clean,"

Gabi smacks the man in the arm. "Don't be rude, Mr Ackerman." She scolds him. "You look amazing (y/n)."

Connie peeks his head through the door. "Are you ready? He's getting fidgety."

I nod. "I'm ready. I will be out soon."

"Great. See you soon." He gives me a quick wink before dashing out the door.

Gabi, Levi, and I walk out of the room. Marco is with Pieck, the ring in a small box. He puffs up his cheeks at the sight of me.

"I want to walk with you." He grumbles.

I laugh. "If you run this to Daddy quickly, you can walk with me," I say.

He is gone in a split second with Pieck chasing after him.

"He has his fathers looks but that personality is all you." Levi comments.

"You make it sound like a bad thing," I respond, straightening out my dress.

Marco comes running back to me, I pick him up and rest him on my hip. "Let's go, Daddy looks scared."

I step forward taking a deep breath in. Levi takes my hand as Pieck opens the door. My eyes find Jean's in a split second and I fall in love all over again.

And I know it might sound stupid but for me,

I just gotta keep believing and I've heard

Some say you will love me one day

And I will wait, I will wait to get your loving one day
