Walking in their house once again late at night, she let out a sigh before going to her children's room. She smiled when she saw her twins once again cramped in one bed even if they have their own respective beds. She knelt down before kissing their foreheads and she quietly left. She went to her and her husband's room and found him still awake on their bed with a laptop.

"Hey, baby."She greeted as she crawl beside her husband before kissing his cheek.

"Just cheeks?"He asked, looking at her and she giggled.

"Hi."She greeted once again and she planted a soft kiss on his lips.

"Hi, baby."He greeted with a smile.

"Took home some work?"She asked and he nodded with a hum.

"How's hospital?"He asked as she stand up before going in the bathroom.

"Usual, draining day. I'm just glad I'm out of the hospital for three days that's why I will be able to take the kids out, I will be able to cook for my husband."She answered that made him smile.

"How about you?How was court today?"She asked.

"Well, we're scheduled for another trial that's why I'm finishing these paperworks for my clients."He answered and he suddenly heard the running water from the shower.

He waited for his wife as he finish his paperworks and after a few more moments, she arrived with just her panties on and her husband's shirt.

"Hey, hot doctor."He uttered that made her giggle.

"I don't feel hot right now so stop it."She said and his forehead creased.

"You always look hot in my eyes, babe, so I won't stop."He said and she chortled.

"Pierce?"She called for him as she sit beside him and he hummed.

"Nothing."She uttered and he kissed her cheek.

"I'm finished here, then we'll cuddle."Pierce said and she smiled.

She waited for her husband as he put away his things, and when he is back, she immediately went on top of him.

"I am missing you and the kids so much."She uttered as she start giving pecks on his lips and Pierce rested his hands on her lower back.

"We are missing you, too, babe, but we understand your work, the kids know your work. Luna, Coco, and Nunu knows that mommy is Dr. Streep that's why mommy is not always home."Pierce said and she let out a sigh.

"I miss you and the kids but I also miss just the two of us, having our time alone. I can't even remember the last time that we went on a date."Meryl said softly.

"I don't care if we don't always go on dates, what is important to me is you're still able to be with us and the kids when you can."Pierce said and Meryl frowned.

"Aren't you getting tired of your wife barely doing her duties as a wife and a mom?"Meryl asked and Pierce's forehead creased.

"My love, I've been with you for the past eleven, almost twelve years of my life, and in those years, you have been the greatest wife to me, you gave me three beautiful angel and you are the best mom that Luna, Coco, and Nunu could ever ask for."Pierce answered.

"And I will admit babe, our life is not always good, we had ups and downs, but that is normal in a marriage and in a family. And if I had a chance, I would redo that twelve years of my life because I know I am with you."Pierce added and tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"I love you, Pierce."Meryl said softly and Pierce wiped her tears.

"I love you more than anything, Mary Louise."Pierce replied and Meryl buried her face on his neck.
