All art done by me. what's the worst that could happen? A lot of my early stuff is pretty bad but then there's like a massive leap forward in quality, lol. You are allowed to use my art AS LONG AS YOU CREDIT ME AND TELL ME YOU HAVE DONE SO.
So with Legacy I decided Arnec should follow the three weapon rule Devil May Cry 4 had. First is Deimos, his main weapon. Then Lucifer, his hand to hand weapon. And then his last weapon is a pair of twin swords that can come together to form one thin greatsword.

When in greatsword mode your attacks are slower but do more damage, along with being able to launch enemies into the air. In dual swords mode, you're attacks are very fast but deal less damage. Also you can juggle enemies, which gives you more combo score and enemies on the ground can't hit you if you're in the air and juggling unless it's a taller enemy/boss. I mentioned combo score and I'm gonna explain that after I explain this weapon. So by pressing the attack button and moving the stick back (LS back + Y if you play on Xbox. It'd be Triangle for Playstation and I dunno what for Switch. Whatever the top lettered button is), that will swap the weapons mode. Now for the name? I needed a set of twins because apparently I'm obsessed with that in Legacy. Arnec and Fayn, Szakala and Tygrys, Lucifer and Satan, and now Hugin and Munin. You could say it fits because all the other twins wind up rather falling out or killing one another at some point while Hugin and Munin are perfectly happy with one another. That'll be my excuse for now! If you don't know, Hugin and Munin were Odin's twin ravens. Long explanation of something that will never be canon below because I enjoy pain apparently...
Alright so with Arnec's gameplay; style is the way to go. Use more varied moves, harder to execute combos; you get more combo score. The higher your score at the end of a level, the more rings you'll have to spend on upgrades. Slaying normal enemies also gives a small amount of rings, with bosses giving a large amount. So Hugin and Munin would be your money makers since it would be relatively easy to build up your combo score. However you can't parry/block with them since the blade is so thin, even in greatsword mode. But with combo score, you get a D-S rating, similar to the original Devil May Cry. Here is all the ranks:
D - Decent? C - Cool... B - Beautiful! A - Awesome! S - Stylish!
So yeah, the higher the score, the more rings you get. Also when getting a rank you hear whoever you have as the announcer yelling it. Although with some, they sometimes won't say the exact rank. For example, Sonic will say "Live And Learn baby!" when you get an S rank on some occasions. Most would be references to other games. As for the announcers, you'd have the ones you expect like Sonic or Shadow. But also Infinite, Jet, Manic and other not as mainstream characters.
