Bird is a rock hopper penguin. Reason for a penguin is because they're nomadic. Also the "hair" looks like Valkyrie wings, which is supposed to reference to the fact that Nomad "changes the tide of battle when they appear", smiliar to Valkyries determining the fates of battles.
