You know when I first came up with Samantha's character she was just supposed to be a stereotypical Yandere, even wearing a full suit that looked like Arnec. Now though she's more... Sane... Also Arnec's character is different in Boom with him instead of being shy, he's a "lovable" rogue. I put lovable in quotations because the book ain't even published yet so I dunno how lovable he really is. He's VERY sarcastic though and when he has to fight Shadow he annoys Samantha by asking if he's her ex. But he's still got his overprotectiveness, shown early in the story when Dave of all people commits a home invasion. Arnec beats the crap out of him and his eyes turn red which made Dave think it was Shadow before Arnec tosses him out a window that's like 3 feet above the ground because everyone is Sonic is a midget and so are the windows.
And yes, Arnec's belt does look different on his chest. I tweaked it so it goes horizontal on his chest and back since his sword is supposed to stick to it using magnets. In Legacy and stuff he knows he part demon and he can just casually stick the sword to his back.
