Third Person's POV
“He's back?” frowning, Jacob swiftly asks the woman beside her, but she's too occupied by the man on the other line.
“Stay there, we are on the way back to the company,” Diane told to the person she is talking to, not giving Jacob a damn.
“I am talking here,” nakasimangot na sabi niya bago paulit-ulit na bumusina.
Diane glanced at him before muttering, “I missed you, too.”
Para bang nag-init ang batok ni Jacob nang marinig niya ito, bago mabilis na pinaharurot ang sasakyan.
“Jac!” sigaw ng dalaga na napahawak na rin sa braso niya sa takot na maaksidente sila. “Slow down!”
“I am being slow, beb,” mariing balik niya rito. “Too slow to the point that other men cannot stop lurking and flirting around you.”
“Wh–What?” she asks, still grabbing on his clothe.
“You know what I mean, beb.”
“I'll see you there, okay? Bye!” she said before cutting the line to face the man beside her.
“Are you trying to kill us? Slow down, Jacob!”
“It's beb, beb,” he uttered.
“I said, slow down! Now!”
“You are ruining my suit,” kalmadong sagot lang nito habang nag-o-overtake pa sa ilang sasakyan. “Beb.”
“Alright, alright! Beb! Slow it down, beb! Okay na, tama na!”
The corner of his lips lifted up, forming a fine smirk. Then, he grabbed her right hand that's groping his suit and placed it on his lips. Her cheeks heated up, causing her to pull her hand away from him and sit back straightly on her seat. Jacob's brow arched on her action, but then, he chuckled afterwards.
“I love it when you are blushing,” he said. “I mean, I love all of you.”
Parang lalo namang namula si Diane sa sinabi nito. Hindi niya akalaing malandi pa sa malandi ang isang ito at mas lalong hindi niya lubos na maisip na talagang nagpapakalalaki na ito. One more thing is that... for her? Like, seriously, is he really serious?
“No, I am not, as much as you do not!”
“Yes, you are blushing and I really do love y— all of you,” Jacob proclaimed before faking a cough.
Isa lang naman ang gusto ni Diane, ang aminin o sabihin, na linawin ng kaibigan ang kung anuman ang nararamdaman nito para sa kaniya. Mahal na nga ba talaga siya nito o talagang gusto lang siyang parausan ng kaibigan? Nagustuhan lang ba talaga ni Jacob ang mga nangyari kaya ngayon ay hinahabol-habol niya si Diane nang sa gayon ay makaulit pa?
“Bilisan mo na lang para makarating na agad tayo sa office,” lifelessly, Diane told Jacob.
“I thought, you want me to slow down, so, I am slowing down.”
“I changed my mind, just go faster.”
“I'll drive the way I want to and I want it slowly...,” he said before mumbling something which he knows well that she'll not hear. “... para mainip siya sa kahihintay sayo at umuwi na lang. Uwi-uwi pa kasi, sana ay hindi na lang siya bumalik ng Pilipinas!”
“Whatever you're saying, sana masaya ka riyan,” pagsusungit nito sa kaniya habang nasa labas lamang ng bintana ang tingin.
“You know what? Let's just head home and talk. Ang sungit-sungit mo sa akin eh, tapos 'pag iba, excited ka pa.”
