(Gilbert's Pov)

*If you were wondering, this is taking place tree months after Gilbert got out of the hospital*

Despite it not actually being Monica in the pictures, I still felt anger blossom in my chest as I reluctantly gave him the pictures that were sealed in an envelope, I didn't want any of my students stumbling across them. I texted once I "took" the pictures, telling him to met me after school by the oak tree.

Now, we stood here under the big tree that shaded our faces, I, with an angry expression on my face, folded my arms and watched him ripped the envelope, nervous to see what he thought was about it. He held the pictures in his hand carefully like it was precious glass- it probably was to him.

He smiled the smile that fooled everyone. His ashy hair blew slightly in the wind and his scarf followed it.

"Thank you, Gilbert."He cheered as he delicately inserted it in his pocket.

"You can do whatever nasty stuff you want to it if you leave us alone."I hissed as I stepped back from him and bypassed his purple eyes that seemed to haunt me. Said eyes rolled at my comment.

"You can roll your eyes all you want, maybe you'll find a brain back there."I spat at him, staring directly into his eyes, not afraid. The adrenaline rushed through my body, shaking every limb I have, and ripping up the little common sense I have.

"KolKolKol..."Ivan chanted while his eyes turned a few shades darker purple.

"Shut up with that stupid Devil Ritual you do!You have been bothering Monica and I for months now and I fucking sick of it!"I huffed,"Sick of it!"I repeated.

I breathed in deeply.Luckily, the students have left the campus, so there wouldn't be any drama about us around this place.

"She left me," Ivan muttered. He sounded almost like a sad child, searching for a friend.

I calmed down. I guess I never saw it from his point of view, just a man who lost the love of his life. She never called him and her love for him faded as if it never happened. I wouldn't do this if Monica left me, but we are two different people.

His back leaned up against the tree as he stared at the blue sky. It was a beautiful day with the sun up and fluffy clouds filled the sky. Flowers were finally starting to grow back after a long harsh winter. I looked back at his face. It was filled with sorrow and agony.

"Ivan," I said,"I know it's hard to lose someone, but you can't keep stalking her.If she doesn't like you then it isn't true love."

"What do you know about true love."He grumbled.

"I don't know anything, same as you.We are still young and Monica and I could break up, but I could never bring myself to stalk her or hurt her."

"I never hurt her,"

"Not physically, she's been scared that one day you will harm her,"

"That doesn't sound like Monica,"

"That's how much you scared her, you made her a person she never was."

Ivan breathed in the spring air as he closed his eyes. I saw small tears gather in the corner of his eyes. Honestly, I felt pity for him. How he turns to anger once the only person who loves him leaves, makes my stomach have butterflies.

"I love Monica,"He whispered like it wasn't intended for me to hear.

"If you love her let her go,"I told him.

The wind grew stronger as it blew through my hair and his. His scarf danced rapidly in the wind as he smiled a bit. It was as if I helped him continue on with his life instead of having the thought of Monica pulling him down.

The tears rolled down his pale cheek, his eyes still closed, enjoying the chilly gust.He retrieved the picture out of his pocket and handed it back to me. I was surprised when I realized he gave me two pictures. One was the one I gave him and the other was an old picture of Ivan, dressed in a suit, holding Monica's hand who was wearing a dark blue dress. I guessed it was from prom with the paper stars hanging in the background.

"You gave me thi-"

"I don't want it,"

"But-"

"I don't need it."

I know the end was super cheesy, actually the whole chapter was cheesy, but I wanted to give Ivan a happy ending and let him let go of Monica. While writing, I thought of a super cheesy anime where the hair moves with every movement and the person disappears into the wind. You know?Or am I just crazy?
