Y/n had finally made it to her destination, it was a fairly large and lively city, one she would easily get lost in. And she did a few times before actually finding the hotel she was suppose to be staying, well more like hiding, in. Her jaw dropped as she looked up at the huge lavish hotel. The sun shined off the golden structure, the sign of the hotel was just as bright, it reading: 'Golden Sanctuary'.
"Hm. A little too snobby for me." Y/n laughed awkwardly. As snobby as it is, it's where she needed to be. As she walked in, she reached inside her pocket and pulled out a card that Hawks had given her the night she left. For proof and money, he said. She reached the front desk, where a well dressed man stood behind it with a smile. "Ah, welcome miss. How may I assist you?" His voice was smooth like butter. "Um, my friend sent me here for a vacation. He told me this would all be paid for ahead of time."
"I see. May I have the name of this friend of yours?" Y/n handed him the card, his eyes widened upon reading the card. "My! What an honor it is to have Hawks' lovely girlfriend here!" Y/n's cheeks heated up. "Oh no no! I'm not his girlfriend! I'm just a friend!" She explained quickly. "Hm, of course." The man winked before ringing a bell. Three women in gorgeous suits were quick to arrive. "Please show this young lady to the penthouse suite."
"P-penthouse?" Y/n blinked. The three women bowed their heads before taking her luggage and guiding her to the elevator.
The elevator made it to the very top of the building, dinging as the doors opened to reveal large double door. One of the women opened the doors letting the other two in with the luggage, and Y/n. Her breath was taken from her lungs as she entered the room. Upon entry the first thing seen was a living room, right across the way was a balcony behind glass door and windows. She could practically feel the comfort of the couches just by looking at the expensive design. Speaking of, the carpet was a white as snow, with a black curvy design. A large flat screen TV hung from the marble walls above a fireplace.
"Is there anything else we can do for you, miss?" One of the women spoke. "N-no thank you, very much. You've done plenty." Y/n smiled softly. "Then we will leave you to make yourself comfortable. If you need anything don't be afraid to give us a call." With that, they left, leaving Y/n to bask in the suite. She removed her shoes before entering further. She walked down the hallway, to her left was a bathroom. With a white pericline tub that sat by the clear as day glass window that outlooked the entire city.
To her right was one of the master bedroom, inside there was the largest bed she had ever seen. Soft to the touch, and covered in expensive looking pillows and blankets. She had another excellent view of the city from the room. She went to the closet, that she swore was bigger than her room back home. Along with another bathroom. She strolled back trough the hallway, on the other side of the living room, was another hallway. Down there would be another bedroom.
The kitchen sat just beside the main area. Again, this kitchen and dinning room would take up half her house. A basket sat on the table, inside was chocolates, candies, fruit, roses and two letters and well as slippers and folded white robe. The first was from the hotel.
"We thank you for choosing Golden Sanctuary. Please enjoy the complimentary food we've provided for you in your fridge as well as the welcome basket and house slippers and robe. We hope you enjoy your stay."
Y/n smiled as she set down the kind letter before slipping on the comfortable white slippers. The name of the hotel written in gold on the top of the slippers. She unfolded the robe, the softness of the cloth on her hands and the fresh smell of the robe tempted her to the bathroom to quickly change before heading back to red the other letter.
"Hey there kiddo. If you're reading this it means you've made it to the hotel. I'm hoping everything is to your liking?"
"Oh hell the fuck yes it is Keigo. Thank you so much!" Y/n sighed a breath of relief. She could get use to living like this. She would have to really think of something to do for Hawks when he comes to get her.
"Sorry to force this sudden move on you all at once. But, I'd rather you be alive and somewhere far away then dead. You mean a lot to me kid, if you were to get hurt, I don't know what I would do. But don't worry, it's all temporary."
That part made her pout slightly. "I wish it wasn't."
"I'll come back for you, I promise. Then, we can do stuff like this more often together. Just wait for me until then ok? See you around, kid."
Y/n smiles softly. "Yeah, I'd like that Hawks." She held the letter close to her chest. She yawned and stretched out her limbs. The trip here had made her exhausted. She set the letter down before heading to the master room and flopping down on the unbelievably soft bed. Her body sank into the plush memory foam. "I'm half tempted to steal this and bring it home with me...somehow." She giggled.
Her comfort was short lived, as she heard her phone buzz. She groaned and reached across at the nightstand to grab it. Her face scrunched into annoyance as she read the name that appeared on her screen.
Dabi.
'Can't a girl get some relaxation?' That's it. She was going to give him a piece of her mind. She answered the phone, not even giving Dabi the chance to talk first. "You just don't know when to quit do you?"
"...Y-Y/n? You actually picked up?"
His voice sounded horse, like he were sick.
"Yeah, I picked up so I could tell you to fuck off! Why do you insist on calling me after I made it clear that I didn't want to see you again! It's like you-" She was cut off by Dabi.
"I know, I know I shouldn't be talking to you...But please...please listen to me."
Y/n rolled her eyes but kept quiet.
"Y/n. I'm about to fight Hakai, me and the league are. And you know how dangerous that dude is. So I just wanted to talk to you one last time."
One last time? What was that suppose to mean? "Dabi what are you-"
"I know I've been nothing but shitty to you. I promised myself a long time ago that I would protect you. That I would never let anyone hurt you. But I hurt you, I've hurt you a lot. I didn't deserve you then, and I sure as hell don't deserve you now."
"Wait a minute a Dabi. Why are you saying this all of a sudden?" Y/n asks.
"Y/n...if I manage to live through this, though those chances may be slim...there's something I want to tell you. Something I've been meaning to tell you for a long time."
"Dabi?"
"I gotta go Y/n. I'll be seeing you."
"Dabi! Wait!" He had hung up before she could get another word in. Only then had she noticed her heart has been thumping rapidly in her chest. He was actually going to fight Hakai? He wasn't on his own, but neither were most of the heroes that challenged Hakai before either. Though Y/n had no feelings for Dabi, or that she'd like to admit, that didn't mean she wanted him dead. Even after everything he's done, she didn't want him to die.
"Dabi...please don't die..."
