Y/n got off the train that stopped a street down from work, ever since last night she's been on edge. She could have died, all because of some random insane creep, and she would have too if it weren't for Hawks. She wished she could have done something to thank him, instead of acting like she did. "Honestly." Y/n said with a scowl. "I acted like a freak. I'm sure he's use to fangirls though, so what does it matter?" If she ever sees him again, by some stroke of luck, maybe she'll actually do something instead of staring at him.

Before Y/n walked into the large office building, she took out her phone. No new calls or texts from Dabi. She pulls his contact, but before she pressed call her hands froze. "I'm such an idiot." She mutters before putting her phone away. 'Why did I ever believe he would change? I should have kicked his ass out that night he came crawling back. What is wrong with me!?' She screamed in her mind. 'I should know better! I should know better than to rely on him of all people, he's a villain for fuck's sake!'

She didn't know why she was getting so worked up about this, she and Dabi weren't in a relationship. He didn't have to act like her boyfriend, and she didn't have to act like his girlfriend. They were just...well, it was hard to explain. But the important thing is, they weren't tied down to each other. Dabi could see whoever he wanted, and so could she. Why was she wasting her time on Dabi anyway? Was it the thrill of spending her nights with a criminal? Was it the pity she felt for the poor bastard? Whatever it was, it wasn't good, and it needed to be put to an end sooner or later. Preferably sooner.

"Did you hear about that new villain? They say he took out an entire police unit and three heroes all on his own." Y/n glanced over her shoulder. A few co-workers were gathered around each other discussing the latest news. "What's his name again?" One of them asked. "No ones knows. He hasn't given the public a name for himself." Said another. "Let's just hope the stronger heroes will sort this out, before it's too late."

What was said next made Y/n freeze in her tracks. "I hear Hawks is on the case." She continued to listen. "Oh really? Well we can consider this a done deal then. Hawks will certainly put that no good villain in his place!" Y/n hurried to her desk and opened up her computer. She looked up the latest news about villain attacks and found the guy that they were talking about.

'Infamous no named villain strikes again!

In downtown Sakamura a hero agency, that was just starting out, was attacked and and destroyed leaving 50 people injured and over a hundred dead. The hero, Fierce Wind, was killed attempting to defend his agency and the people inside.

Still no information regarding the villain's name, however, his quirk is one to be feared. He calls it, Destabilize. When activated, it can cause people's quirks to become unstable, to the point of self inflicted injury and/or death.'

"Wow, the dude seems pretty serious." Y/n murmurs. "I wonder what he's doing this all for. Can't just be for pointless murder, he seems to know what he's doing." She keeps reading.

'In later news, number 2 pro hero Hawks, has been on the case, searching far and wide for the infamous villain. He asks the public to report any suspicious activity immediately, as he could be linked to The League Of Villains.'

"League of villains? So Dabi could know this guy?" For a moment, Y/n actually considers it. Asking Dabi about the league, but it was stupid idea. For two reasons.

1: She would be prying into Dabi's personal life, which he made very clear at the beginning, is something Y/n should never do.

And 2: She would be using him for information, so she could report it to a hero. Which would betray Dabi. It could the league, as well as him, captured.

Y/n exhaled deeply. This was quite the situation she found herself in. On one hand, she would be helping the heroes take down a very dangerous and deadly organization. On the the other hand, it would get her killed doing so. "He wouldn't..." Y/n swallowed a lump in her throat. But he would, if he needed to. Dabi was a murderer, everyone knew that. He's killed before, he would do it again without hesitation. But would he kill her? Why wouldn't he? Y/n was no one he cared about, she was just some woman. Dabi would kill her if it meant keeping himself and the league ahead of the heroes.

Her hands began to shake, and her heart thumped in her chest rapidly. She closed out of the window that showed the article and tried desperately to focus on work. 'No way...no way am I doing any of that. Hawks is the number two hero for a reason, he'll sort this out on his own...But those poor people, so many others will end up just like them if nothing is done about it...' In that moment she had to decide what was more important to her, Dabi, or countless inncocent civilian lives. With a deep sigh, she put the decision away for now, getting back to work.

But all day it plagued her mind, if she actually goes through with it, tries to get the information out of Dabi, where would that lead her? She would be betraying Dabi, throwing away the time they spent together. But was it worth her time? Was he worth her time? As she had to constantly remind herself, she and Dabi did not love each other. There was no love, not then and not now. There was a...mutual understanding. Or an agreement of sorts. Y/n would provide Dabi a place to stay, while also hiding him from the heroes and tending to his injuries, and of course the sex. And in return...in return he...

Wait a minute, what did he do in return? Not kill her? That was hardly fair! She put in so much work for him, even letting him use her body, and what did he do as a thanks? Not kill her? Sure, anything is better than being dead, but she was keep a dangerous criminal! If the heroes and police found out, she would be seen as an accomplice, and sent to prison! All for him! Why didn't she see this sooner, or maybe she did, and she just didn't want to acknowledge it. But why?

"Why?" Y/n felt a droplet of wetness on her hand, she flinched and drew her hand back. She lifts it up to her cheek, more of it. She was crying, why was she crying? 'Why do I feel like this? I shouldn't feel like this? He doesn't care about me, he doesn't love me. And I can't blame him, I let him use me...over and over again!'  She wiped away her tears, but more and more came rushing down. It caught the attention of her co-worker, they walked over and gently tapped on her shoulder. "L/n, are you ok?" They ask. Y/n sniffled, and wipes away another set of tears. "I'm heading home early, I suddenly feel unwell. Please explain this to boss, and I'll call him later this evening." She said as she got up and walked away, leaving behind a concern co-worker. "O-ok."
