I'm Fine

I like to sing and dance like there's no tomorrow

Raise your glasses to the roof, there'll be no sorrow

Nothing can stop me now, I'll dance quicker, speed up the tempo

I'm taking over the stage, don't you know

Although I'm bleeding for my dreams, although I'm sad sometimes

I'm fine, don't come close to take care of me, I've drawn my lines

I never asked for comfort, I'm the giver, not the receiver

I'll dance so quickly and sing so seductively you'll think you have a fever

Is it hot in here or is it just me

I'm a rising star, you're lucky enough to watch me practice with no fee

But soon I'll be on the worldwide stage, taking it all on

For now, want to request a song?

Even though I may perform with tears in my eyes

I'm fine, don't worry, guys!

Even though sometimes I need to take some breaks

It's not me, attack all the toxic fakes

Pretending to be my friend when we don't get along

For you fools, I'll write a song

I don't care what you say about me or to me

I'll never be what you want me to be

And the business of fools isn't something I'm interested in

So you can insult me all you want with that cynical grin

I'll rise up twice as strong as I was the last time

Up towards the finals I'll climb

My dance is intoxicating, my movements not ordinary, my voice is more than beautiful

You've fallen into my heart with your puppy eyes, drink your stomach full

Of my music, it'll help you stand back up

Smile more, my little pup

You're not alone wherever you want to be

I'll always keep you close to me

Even though I sometimes miss a dance move

It's fine, I'm still in the groove

Even though I may sometimes get laughed at and ridiculed for my dreams

I'll struggle harder to get what I want, I know I have the means

To succeed, if I can try hard enough, I'll reach the top

Dance faster, sing louder, now I can't stop!

If you believe in me, I'll sing twice as better, and dance twice as better too

This is my way of saying thanks so much to you

For believing in a foolish girl's dream, I'll reward you greatly

I've been feeling generous lately

So here, take some money, buy what you want

Sing to my rhythm, and I'll be your confidant

Reassure you, kiss you, whatever you want, I'll do

It's all because I respect and like you

My voice is impressive, it stretches across the entire stage

Beautiful dance moves, powerful lyrics, I'm all the rage

If I can see your eyes in the crowd, even between everyone

I'll be fine, dance harder, drop the bass, I'm not done

I'll make you love me by the end of this performance

I promise, my dance moves have no conformance

They conform to me, my aesthetic, my mood

All these words, albeit crude

Fit me perfectly, define me

I am my own me

Even though I look tired after giving my life for my dream

I'm fine, no matter how haggard I may seem

I've given my all to what I've dreamed for

So I'm actually not fine, I'm way more

I feel euphoric, in these seconds passing by like hours

In the infertile field of my heart, I've planted beautiful flowers

Now, I only need to wait for the people's opinions, I hope they pick me

If they do, I'd be so full of glee

Please, judges, please pick me!

I've danced my heart out for you

Given my heart to you, no matter how blue

It may be, filled with cracks, I hope you accept me as one of you

Please, just give me one chance, I won't disappoint

Oh, if this poem has been too long

For you, I'll give you the point

Nobody can tell you you're wrong

You're invincible now, don't cry

As the door to your dream opens, fly

Into the audience waiting there for you

Run faster, now scream, woo-hoo

This is your dream, now you can be fine, like me

So tell me now, do you enjoy being free?

You're beautiful, don't let anyone tell you different

You can get your dream if you're strong and confident

And when you're standing on the stage

All the rage

I hope just one thing

I really hope you're fine

That, over time

You'll improve and get better at your dream

Tastier than whipped cream

This is what a perfect life tastes like

Let's run for it together

Friends forever!
